Located in the historic Shanklin Old Village on the Isle of Wight we are a family run, very friendly bed & breakfast. Named after the famous poet John Keats who stayed for 3 months in the summer of 1819 (Lamia, Otho the Great etc) the building has also hosted the artist George Morland (the Wreckers) and the dramatist Thomas Morton (Speed the Plough). The Keats room is available as one of our letting rooms. Parking is located in the main village carpark 40m from the B & B or in the surrounding streets. Within walking distance of the train station which runs directly from the Fastcat at Ryde Pier Head. A friendly buzzing resort location with bags of history, shops, places to eat and entertainment.
