This is a beautiful cabin in a great area. The decor was amazing! There was enough beds to accommodate our family as well. I would definitely rent this cabin again:)
We liked the improvements!

We've stayed here before and enjoyed the extra parking & room for our boat. Nice deck to relax on, most of the things you need for meal prep are available to use. Second refridgerator comes in handy for meal storage. Gentleman working for Shaver Lake Rentals went above & beyond to bring us needed supplies after a long afternoon at the lake "thank you" would definatly stay here again. Respectfully, Scott
Cozy - Homie atmosphere - and very comfortable.

we had a great time. My in laws are in their 70's and they enjoyed their room being seperate from the rest of us. It is welcoming to the forest with the way they decorated the home. Also the staff were customer friendly and attentive to our needs. Thank you.

This house exceeded our expectations. I don't think the online tour or pictures does it justice. It was roomy and well done (exactly how I would keep my own house!). Vacation Rentals was a joy to work with, I felt like they were really helpful across the board. Overall, it was the perfect place to ring in New Year's with our family watching the Rose Bowl as TCU (my daughter is a horned frog!!!) won. Kudos.
Wonderful Cabin:Dirty Floors!

This cabin was set up nicer than any of the many cabins
we've stayed at over the years. Nice paved parking for our boat, jet skis & parking for all our cars. The interior was decorated nicely, I also am a hunter/fisherman so the motif
was perfect. Nice kitchen, bar top, & loved the big dining table for all of us to sit at once and the synthetic or textured deck was great (no splinters) However the floors were filthy at this cabin and it took two phone calls & 2-1/2
days for someone to come over and clean it properly, My wife & daughters had to use the house mop just to get it clean enough for the grandchildren to come inside, Shaver Lake Rentals was slow to respond to our request for cleaning & failed to pick-up our accumulated trash even though a request was made twice for pick-up. They did apoligize & refund half our cleaning deposit. I would rent this cabin again but I'll make sure it's been cleaned before setting foot in it. Respectfully: Scott

We enjoyed staying at the John's Hunter's Lodge. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook a great meal. The extra large dinner table came in handy as all the of the family sat together and enjoyed our meals. The extra refrigerator was a good bonus. Plenty of parking for all the vehicles. The only bummer was not being able to have a campfire and roast marshmallows. However, we understood that we needed to be careful during the extreme fire season.

First of all, I think it was a great cabin. But because of a couple of things and a misunderstanding........ I would have to downgrade the overall experience. When I discussed the Linen package with you guys, my understanding was that I had to provide my own sheets. I didn't realize that it didn't include towels. It is the first time I stayed somewhere that didn't provide towels. I will give you kudos however for bringing towels over when I called. That was great. I realize I went to the snow, but driving down from Sierra Summit to the cabin and having to put on chains for a hundred yard stretch off road that the HOA doesn't do was kind of a hassle. Also the driveway was almost unusable for the same reason. They took the top layer off once during the middle of our stay. But without chains you weren't going up it. Overall though we had a good time. I think I might try a place with better snow service next time though,

Great cabin...but the service...

The cabin is very large and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the family pictures and personal touches. The back yard had a nice area for sledding for the kids and we had a great time. BUT Shaver Lake Vacation rental company was not a joy to work with. This is the 4th year we have rented through them and this year we rented 2 houses next door to each other. I found the level of service we received was horrible and if I owned these cabins, I would look for a new rental company.

We had a great time playing in the snow! The cabin is cozy and I love the three bunks beds for the kids. We also liked that there were so many TVs for everyone to relax in front of after playing outside. Down sides would be...no closet space (everything is locked), no plastic dishes or cups for kids, and steep stairs. Overall we had a fun time.
