This is a fabulous custom home in the prestigious Granite Ridge area. It sits on a large corner lot and is surrounded by trees. Its open floor plan has beautiful, comfortable log furnishings, spacious bedrooms, and a large deck for spending time outdoors in the fresh mountain air. The master suite has a private bath with a delightful Jacuzzi tub. DVD player.

  When our family finally arrived at Tada, everyone was in agreement that it was "beautiful".The open vaulted ceiling gave us room to feel space and the pine log funiture gave us a real retreat feeling.We stayed up just enjoying the deck,the kitchen, and the kids loved the games which meant no need for TV. Everything from the bedrooms to the family room and the large dining table were the makings of a perfect family getaway. As a mom who always tries to plannice trips for my family, I felt successful as my in-laws, and my nieces and nephew were just as pleased as my own kids were. The only downside to our perfect Shaver Lake Retreat was that the refrigerator and the oven did not work. The Maintenance Team helped us to make it work out so we didn't have to move to another property and the gas BBQ helped us enjoy our planned meals.
  Despite those two issues, we are planning to go back. Thank you,

  Peaceful

  We stayed in the Tada Rental over President's Day Weekend 2011 and what a peaceful stay it was. The Rental was perfect. Very cozy and had plenty of room for us to roam, which we were four adults and 3 children. The beds were very comfortable and the showers in the master and upstairs were terrific. No issue with water pressure at all. My 10 year old daughter took a bath in the master bedroom and we had to nearly declare her a fish because she didn't want to get out. I would recommend purchasing the linen fee because that gives you towels in all bathrooms and sheets on all beds. Kitchen was very accommodating. We brought paper plates, bowls and utensils not knowing what to expect, but we didn't need them. The rental was clean enough that I felt comfortable for my 1 year old to crawl all around the unit. There were some cob webs on the ceiling and the walls could use some painting, but overall it was just fine. We are planning to rent this property again in the summer. I definitely give this rental property an a.

  Somewhat Surprised

  We were somewhat surprised by the lack of kitchen equipment (no measuring cups or spoons!). Also, the "2nd television" was a small older tv that didn't get any reception. The master bath was the only one we showered in as the one spare only dropped a few drips at a time, and the other one didn't drain well. We were also surprised at the lack of blankets in the house and the lack of care the home seemed to have received. We asked if the people had recently purchased the home and they told us that the people had owned it for years. We were surprised. We have rented 4 or 5 homes up there now, and this is the first one we were disappointed in. However, we managed to have fun anyway and lots of snow and good times with dear friends!!

The owners appreciated your feedback, and have addressed your issues. Both showers are fully functional. Unfortunately, there are two items that seem to disappear from our Vacation Rentals, blankets and pillows. Not that guests take them on purpose, sometimes in the confusion and hustle and bustle of packing items can be mistakenly taken. Please know in the future if you find any issues with the home you are renting to please contact our office so we can address them. We here at SLVR strive to make our guests stay as comfortable as possible, but these are homes, and just like your homes things happen. Again, we thank you for your review and hope to see you again.
