After a full day of trekking through undiscovered Sierra forest there's nothing better than coming to this remarkable property and taking your boots off, grabbing a beer and getting into the hot-tub. Ah! Roughin' It. What a life!

This property has all the amenities of home with the added plus of a beautiful location close to all of the mountain attractions. We stayed for a week and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, cooking out on the deck and in the enormous kitchen (it has everything you could need to cook a meal!), playing games in front of a cracking fire, and challenging each other to games of pool. The house has large bedrooms and bathrooms, a wet bar, and even a game area complete with a closet full of games! The big screen TV was a hit with the guys - they loved lounging around watching sports on the couches in front of the fire. The house has two decks with ample furniture for enjoying the natural scenery and the antics of the blue jays, squirrels, and other creatures. Just a short drive away is Shaver Lake where we enjoyed hikes with amazing views. Though we did not use it this trip, there are two marinas that offer rentals for fishing, jet skis, kayaks, and more! Just a short 30 minute drive from the property is the China Peak Ski Resort where we spent a fun-filled day on the slopes. This property is only minutes from the town of Shaver Lake - home to best pizza we've ever tasted at Shaver Lake Pizza. This house is amazing and we can't wait for our trip next year!
