i rented this cabin for our Mens Retreat at our church. They explainned that the layout was perfect & they look forward to next year but we are looking for a diferent cabin but still rom Shaver Lake Vacation rental the only reason we need a diferrent cabin is because we have more men wanting to go nect yeat

We loved staying at the Magee Cabin. It had everything we needed for a lovely stay. The cabin was quite roomy and comfortable. The location was ideal and we look forward to going back.

We have rented a particular cabin for several years through Shaver Lake rentals and when our favorite cabin wasn't available, we asked the agency for a similar cabin and booked Magee. We had a fabulous time! The cabin is well suited for large groups and children as it has a deck right outside the kitchen/living room where kids can play in the snow and adults can keep a close watch. We had plenty of room to move around and will definitely be back. It was also close enough for a quick walk to town which was perfect. The only recommendation I would have is to consider bringing your favorite cooking pans if you plan on doing lots of cooking, the kitchen wasn't stocked well enough with pans and/or mixing bowls.
