Thank you to all of our guests for making our place an award-winning destination! We agree with you; "There is no other place like it in Shawnee." We provide two HDTV's, free WiFi, fireplace, and two-person whirlpool tub with two spa robes. Guests say they enjoy the clean, homey feeling of this very private, rustic town home and relaxing atmosphere provided by the fireplace and views of the Shawnee Mountain. The townhouse (end unit) is located in Northslope II, a private vacation community with its own private outdoor pool and playground called Sun Mountain. Northslope II guests get free access to the Shawnee Inn indoor pool and spa, and a discount at the Shawnee Inn Golf Course and Shawnee Ski. Northslope II is a few miles from the Delaware River, Delaware Water Gap, and National Recreation Park. Northslope II is located very near (two minute drive) from the Shawnee Ski Mountain.

My family rented this house for a weekend of tubing at Shawnee mountain. This was the best transaction I ever had. I emailed Nancie at 10 pm on a thursday night to ask if the house was available for the up coming weekend. Nancie emailed me right back that night and had everything setup for me by noon on Friday. Nancie was great to deal with. The house was awesome!!! very very relaxing , super clean, everything up to date and had everything you would need and some. My wife and kids had such a great time at the house we only went tubing for 1 1/2 hours on Saturday. I have to say after the stress of the holiday's are stay was priceless!!! I can't waite to come back.

We love this place!! Our stay was even better this time ! We ate at inti (the Peruvian place) the staff was so unbelievably friendly & helpful and the food was good too..we also went to the Gem..where we sampled their locally brewed beers..which was completely unexpected! what a great experience!! We now consider this place "our" place, its perfect for us to enjoy our time away from everyday life including demanding work & children..Thank you for everything we love it there.. The next quick getaway time we get we hope to be back again..

This unit is immaculate. Owner has all the ammenities of home. Our family had a great time just relaxing at the house and playing games. However, we also easily commuted to Bushkill, Milford, Delaware Water gap. My teenage kids really enjoyed the area and believe it or not, the family time. They arleady asked if we can go back next year. Highly recommend if you are looking for a friendly owner, a first rate home, a convenient location, and a nice family getaway...any season.

All the comforts of home can be found here! Everything from the King size bed to the flat screen Tv's make you feel like you're in a luxury townhouse. Plenty of towels, pillows, blankets and paper products (in case you forget anything!). The furnishings and decorations are wonderful and make you feel like you are in a real cabin! We enjoyed being able to go to the pool too, as it was pretty hot the last couple of days. The wireless internet was a plus, as we were able to bring our small laptop to research places to go and easily get directions and phone numbers.
Went to dinner a couple of nights at the Gem & Keystone. Try the wing night (Wednesday) and the burgers!
This was our first experience renting thru Vrbo and are very happy that we did. The location was perfect for hiking the nearby waterfalls and canoe rentals. We also went to the Lakota Wolf Preserve, which we would not have know about, had it not been for this listing. Also, thanks to Nancie for help with the alarm when we first got there. This house is amazing! It's cozy, clean and beautiful as previous guests said. We love the antique decorations and display in the house and it's fully equipped. We brought lots of food to cook and had a barbecue as well. Great time for five of us to stay in two bedrooms. Besides, we did rafting, tree top climbing and karting etc. All these places located from 10 minutes drive to 30 mins, so it's pretty convenient. Milton and I would like to thank Nancie for working with us the schedule and her time to help us make the best out of the stay. We would definitely choose this house again the next time.

The only problem we had with the vacation was the fact we did not go out as much as we wished simply because your home was so amazing. From the set up to your brilliant decorations, your home was truly the getaway vacation we were looking for. We had a very hard time leaving and cannot wait to come back. This past year we renovated all bathrooms, purchased an indoor ski rack, and added lots of new art work for our guests to enjoy. In addition, our vacation community of Northslope II is in the process of renovating the exterior of our homes by installing new roofs and new landscaping. This place has it all and then some, they thought of everything...From a fully stocked kitchen to a luxury master suite and a wide selection of down time activities including movies, books, games..you name it they had it! The location is perfect, the decor was authentic and the amazing restaurants the owners suggested were all fabulous. Not to mention the owners were a pleasure and made making all the arrangments a breeze! If your looking for the perfect Pocono vacation spot this is it!! Thank you Nancie for a great weekend!

The house is to a very high standard and you have thought of everything your quests might need and more. We have travelled to america from Ireland many times and can honestly say your home has been the best accomadation by far. Hello Nancie,
Just a note to let you know that Carolyn and I really enjoyed our stay. Your place was very nicely furnished and decorated and we felt right at home. It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We saw many deer, turkey and foxes. Also had a visit from the local bear sometime Wed. night, a few trash containers were tipped over and the contents strewn about.
Trust that you found everything in good order. We tried to return everything to its proper place and hope we left the place in good condition. If we have need to stay in the Pocono area again, we will definitely try to stay at your place.
One suggestion, if I may. You might consider removing the throw rugs in the foyer area. I feel they pose a major tripping problem.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is beautifully decorated. The beds are super comfortable. We stayed with friends and had fun eating, playing games, watching the fire, and relaxing together. Area is beautiful. We will return!
