Lake Shore House is a fully equipped vacation rental on Lake Michigan. Beautiful unobstructed lake views on one of America’s Great Lakes, offers a relaxing mid-week, weekend, or week retreat. Since 2007 we have hosted hundreds of guests at Lake Shore House, providing them with ambience, cleanliness, and an easy reservation and access procedure. We are open 365 days a year. Guests come from Europe and all 50 states to enjoy the lake. In summer they enjoy the beach and tranquility, fall the autumnal colors and privacy, winter the frozen lake and winter activities and spring to cure cabin fever with a fresh getaway. The sunrise and moonrise sh...immering across the lake have brought special memories to guests and families throughout the year and are reflected in the Lake Shore House visitor’s log.

Not your typical cookie-cutter destination, Lake Shore House offers privacy in a single-family home that features central air-conditioning, hardwood floors, laundry, wood-burning stove, one-car garage, expansive deck, updated kitchen and bathes. Sleeping accommodations for six, two second floor bedrooms with skylights and ceiling fans, one with a king size bed and a balcony overlooking the Lake, the other featuring a queen size bed, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room with abundant natural light from three directions. The main floor ceramic tile bath has a full-size tub with shower and pedestal sink. The lower level features a half-bath, laundry and a twin rollaway bed.

If you are a couple, single, family, multi-generational, girl’s getaway or other guest, we have hosted just about every type and lifestyle of guest. We embrace diversity. We are dog friendly and have had just about every breed of dog. If you would like to bring yours, tell us something about them, we rarely turn well groomed and behaved dogs away.

As your host, I am equipped to handle last-minute bookings. I am available by cell phone from 7 AM to 9 PM CST seven days a week.

You have a great lake house! It was perfect for a quick 2-day getaway weekend with close friends. We’re heading back to Chicago well rested and ready to take on the week. Thank-you for everything and we wish you the best.

As I snooped around to familiarize myself to my new surroundings, I found that I was not wanting for anything. You have thought of everything! Teapot, blender, flashlight, sandwich bags, etc. Perfection! Oh yeah, and an up-to-date People Magazine, that I just saw in the store today! My very favorite thing was finding a note and my name on it, waiting on the dining room table for me.

Our 2nd Labor Day at Lake Shore House. The farmer’s market in town on Saturday has an amazing selection of vegetables and eats. We played tennis on South High School’s courts, visited Kohler Art Museum downtown and just enjoyed lazing in this relaxing spot.

Additional Location Information

Lake Shore House is located directly on Lake Michigan on the south side of Sheboygan in a quiet residential neighborhood. Located one house away from a city park that offers a mile and a half long wide sandy beach with a gradual drop-off, perfect for clildren and dogs.

We are a mile south of downtown Sheboygan, which offers dining, shopping, an art museum and other services you would find in a city with a population of 50,000. Restaraunts vary from world-class Italian to family style and pubs with grub.

Close to Lake Shore House are 3 PGA golf courses, fishing on Lake Michigan or Pigeon River, Nascar and other automotive events at Elkhart Lake, a Maritime Museum in Manitowoc, Lambeau Field home to the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee, a hour drive from Sheboygan.

Lake Shore House offers guests a detached one-car garage and additional parking in the driveway for two cars. Ample street parking is also available.

Please Note:
1)Our Winter Rate is for double occupancy at $89. Eash additional person (children included) is $10 per night.
2) All other rates are for up to 6 guests per night.
3) We are dog friendly, each dog is $10 per stay.
4) All taxes are included in rate.
5) We require 1 nights rate as a deposit, with the balance due 2 weks before arival.
6) We don't accept credit cards, personal checks are welcome.
We have been serving guests at Lake Shore House since 2007.

  This darling little Lake Shore House is cozy, comfortable and clean!! Like a home away from home! The reservation process is easy & it is such a deal. We were there in September and spent the evenings on the deck over looking Lake Michigan which is absolutely peaceful and beautiful! Both the sunrise and sunsets are breathtaking! We walked the lake during the day and enjoyed barbecuing, relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet! What an outstanding getaway for a week or a long weekend! We will be going back again this Fall and we've already made our reservations so we don't miss out. Try it once and you will want to go back! Fabulous find for us!! Highly recommend it!

  We were looking for a quick getaway. We found Lake Shore House and discovered an affordable place that offered fantastic views of Lake Michigan. Sheboygan has great local dining and entertainment throughout the year. Mr. Nash has created a comfortable and clean vacation home,that offers everything from soup to nuts. Just bring your food, sit back and enjoy beautiful sunrises on the lake and a relaxing atmosphere that won't break your bank
