We stayed in "Dad's Cabin" at aAa Granary accommodation and just loved the place! We travelled with our teenagers who both had their own room and luckily it had electric blankets as it was freezing (we are Queenslanders and not used to the cold!) It was quite a big cabin and had a self contained kitchen and very thankful for a washing machine!
The kids loved the games room a little dated but had a great pool table, table tennis and a good range of dvd's to watch. It also had a sauna and spa but we didn't take togs on our holidays as we thought it was too cool!
We found the accommodation easily very close to Sheffield (we visited Cradle Mtn next day and it only took us 1/2 hour to get there). We visited the pub at night and had the best fish dish on our holidays in Tassie. Good find! -

We booked a family cabin for our family of 4 (2 small children) in april when thinsg were cooling down in Tassie. The accomodation was warm and well fitted out with a nice deep bath and laundry. There were plenty of family facilities like bikes, Dvds, play gym, minigolf, Wiis, etc. We had a beautiful view of Mt Roland out of our window and a short 5 minute walk to Tazmazia and a short drive to Sheffield.
My wife and I enjoyed the views and clean fresh air, as well as the handy accomodation. The kids enjoyed Tazmazia and the Wii and bikes (as well as the minigolf).
There were a few bugs such as the DVD not working initially and some minor issues with cooking, but these were sorted out quickly by alan who was friendly and helpful.

Nice comfortable cottage great activity centre and grounds available for the kids to use, lovely gardens, we liked having a BBQ to use. Will be back again, the kids didn't want to leave.
