If you're looking for a great family place to get away, this 1100 square foot condo with stunning views of Puget Sound and Mt. Rainer is it. Located off State Highway 3 between Bremerton and Olympia, Harstine Island Hideaway is 45 minutes from Tacoma, Olympia or Bremerton and great lodging for your visit to the Olympic Peninsula, Hood Canal and Puget Sound. A panoramic view of Case Inlet and Mt. Rainier from the picture window is the highlight of this two story island house condominium. The upstairs loft has a large bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom. A curtain can be drawn to make two bedrooms upstairs, the second with a twin bed. The mai...n floor has a second bathroom and shower plus the kitchen, dining, living room area and a bedroom with another queen bed. There is also a single hide-a bed upstairs. Spectacular view; 1100 square feet of space that can sleep 5 in beds; 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers; community pool and hot tub (open Memorial Day through mid-September), boat launch and moorage; gas fireplace; huge private deck with propane barbeque; satellite TV/DVD/VCR/CD/Stereo; second TV in large bedroom; washer, dryer and full service kitchen; the community club house has a pool table, ping pong table, card tables and a small library. Miles of private trails and beaches provide a chance to hike and beach comb and the gated community offers privacy and 24 hour security. The inlet offers a great place to kayak or canoe too.   We have been to Harstine Island Hideaway many times and whenever we leave we are already looking forward to the time we can return. Our entire family loves this peaceful getaway! It is a wonderful cozy place whether you are there in the winter or in the summer. It doesn't matter what the age...whether you are adults or kids...Harstine Island Hideaway provides the perfect vacation. We love to walk down the trail, directly off the cabin, and go down to the beach to collect rocks and shells. The pool offers many hours of fun during the summer and the clubhouse is additional entertainment with ping pong and pool, a library, and puzzles! There are also tennis courts and a basketball court right by the pool. The very tip of the island is such a fun place, with covered picnic areas, a swing set, and even a rope swing! And on some days, if we don't feel like leaving the cabin, everything you need is right there. Every kitchen utensil for cooking and eating is available. Snuggle up for a good book or a good movie while looking out at the gorgeous view of the Sound (and Mount Rainier, on a clear day!). We are so thankful for this beautiful place. So many wonderful memories have been made here and we look forward to many more years of memories!
