We have a selection of lovely properties available for holiday rental. All of the properties are located in the historic Abbey town of Sherborne near the Somerset/Dorset border.
We have two apartments which are both located in Printers Court, a period building located on the main shopping street running through Sherborne. As the name might suggest, the building used to be a printing press and has a beautiful secluded rear garden and courtyard which guests are welcome to use.
Flat 2 sleeps four and has a unique and pleasing layout split over two floors with an internal staircase. The two bedrooms (one double, one twin) and bathroom...Read more

PhoenixFantastic flat in a gorgeous little town!
Left on 01/23/2013 for a stay in September 2012
We stayed in Number 52 on Cheap Street. This place was fantastic! The bed was so comfortable, the flat was very spacious and had everything we could have possibly needed. There is a patio off of the kitchen, which was perfect for morning coffee and tea! The location in town could not have been better. We loved every minute of our time in Sherborne! Highly recommended!

A beautiful home from home right in the centre of Sherborne.
Beds - 2 bedrooms, both with comfortable beds, both good size.
Bathroom - Good, powerful shower, bathroom was spacious.
Living room - just a delight to chill out in - lots of character.
Kitchen / Dining Room - everything you need but we tended to eat out.
Parking - It is possible to park outside in the evening, but I parked in the large car park 5 mins walk away.
Things to do - Sherborne is a great place to base yourself for trips to museums, the beach, historic houses and Sherborne is such a pretty place anyway. -

Mother of the Bride
Printers Court (Flats 2 & 3) & Teacher's CottageWonderful wedding, apartments & weather.
Left on 05/05/2010 for a stay in April 2010
The apartments (3) were all very welcoming with flowers and wine, well equipped, bright & clean. Everyone agreed the beds were very comfortable. Having the space in Printers Court (Flat 3) for our wedding party was wonderful - perfect for large dinner parties (we had 2) and for dressing the bride and bridesmaids. It was a wonderful setting and certainly enhanced the wedding experience!
Sherborne itself is a charming town and we were only sorry we did not have the time to explore so a return visit will definately be on the cards.
Many thanks to Sarah, the cleaner and everyone else concerned with making it a very special stay.
Suggestion! - Our flat (Printers Court Flat 3) could do with some kind of handle fixed to the inside of the door as it is heavy and difficult to open/close without something to pull/push on.
A minor point - a note was left in Teachers Cottage mentioning that the cooker did not work - luckily the people staying there were not great cooks but forewarning would have been useful. -

Clean accommodation - fully equipped for a long weekend, good position on
the main high street. Delightful town with historic buildings and good places
to eat out. Flat probably could do with a re think on decor, especially photos
on walls. More local photos and local crafts would be nicer to look at and
provide inspiration for things to do. Good roof top views but could be
enhances with a raised seating area. Helpful staff at rental office and generally
nice place to stay. -

St Robert, MissouriApartment 3
Left on 03/29/2010 for a stay in March 2010
We loved this flat. Fabulous light, bright and airy flat right on the high street in quaint Sherborne. The flat was well equipped, comfortable and safe for a family with a 15 month old child. Best feature: right in the middle of the high street overlooking the markets which are held on Thursdays and Saturdays. Least desirable feature: the Abbey Bookshop down below begins taking the daily newspaper deliveries every morning at 4:30 or so-if you are a light sleeper it will be your wakeup call but generally only lasts for about 15-20 minutes. There is a fan provided in the master bdrm which did help dissipate the noise quite a bit. With that said despite the numerous pubs in Sherborne we had no trouble with noise from the pubs at closing.
Sarah was very friendly, helpful and provided us outstanding service. We are already looking forward to our next visit and staying in this flat. -

LondonRoom with a view
Left on 02/25/2010 for a stay in February 2010
We had a very nice week staying in this apartment.
The living room is enormous and the whole place has a
great feeling of light and space even although we
were there in the dark days of February. The queen
size bed is excellent if you're over six feet like
me. There is only one shopping street in Sherborne
and it's just outside the window so you can see
everything - not much in all honesty - that is going
on. It was also very nice being able to just stroll
to the Abbey, pubs, market and if you feel energetic
some marvellous walks with lots of information in the
apartment. -

Cambridgelovely central apartment for a visit to Sherborne
Left on 02/05/2010 for a stay in January 2010
Very pleasant apartment with large airy living rooms. Centrally situated on the main shopping street but not particularly noisy at night. Very brief stay but found the aparment well equipped - dishwasher etc etc - ironing board and iron, hairdryer, handsoap, washing powder etc. Good liaison during booking.
Sherborne is a lovely town with a good array of shops set in lovely countryside. -

EdinburghA great find in the centre of Sherborne
Left on 02/02/2010 for a stay in September 2009
We stayed in Printers Court for 3 nights. Location couldn't be better (in Cheap St, the main street in the town) though there is no parking right outside.
The flat itself was well equipped, comfortable, clean and bright. We would certainly stay here again.
