All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

A lovely quiet garden setting located in the heart of Sherborne where shopping, cafes/restaurants, pubs, buses, trains are all within easy walking distance, the car being safely parked, at no expense, in the cottage owners driveway. A spacious comfortable, private and well appointed private accomodation which backs onto a lovely flower garden and lawns.Sherbourne itself is a lovely location a good way away from crowded motorways but very convenient for travel to London, Bristol, Exeter and the South Coast.
Hosts are very charming and helpful.
Notwithstanding the fact the weather was pretty appalling for most of our stay, we had an excellent four weeks stay.
We would recommend both Sherborne and Garden Cottage to any visitor.

My husband and I had a very warm welcome from the owners who made us feel at home straight away. Lovely sitting area looking over the beautiful gardens; kitchen had all the necessary equipment we needed. A lovely spacious bathroom with a very good shower. Bedrooms were very suitable with enough space for clothes and very important indeed, the beds were to die for, being very comfortable ensuring a good night's sleep.
The town of Sherbourne was very quaint indeed with some lovely shops and cafes and the Minster was incredibly beautiful. An excellent superstore was to be found which provided all the necessary items one needed.
An excellent base to tour all of the Dorset countryside and beeches. A very enjoyable stay and especially so when we received a visit from 'Bob' the cat, who was adorable.

We really enjoyed our stay in Garden Cottage. The cottage is surrounded by the owners beautiful gardens and is only a 5 minute walk away from the splendid village of Sherborne, making this an excellent base from which to have a holiday. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and has all conveniences that you need whilst away.

The owners were very friendly and provided many thoughtful extra touches such as flowers and a bottle of wine on arrival. The cottage was well-equipped and comfortable set in a lovely garden. Two minutes walk from the abbey, shops etc. Quiet and peaceful.

An ideally sited cottage within walking distance of all the beautiful facilities Sherborne has to offer including the abbey and the station.Mrs allen is very kind and sensitive to the needs of her guests. Nothing is too much trouble for her. We had a very pleasant stay. The garden is stunning.

Charmingly developed from an old add-on to the main Georgian house its main charm lies in the living room being in a huge conservatory which extends into the rear patio part of the garden:so lots of light.
The essential facilities, bedroom, shower room and kitchen are comfortable and well equiped. Our hosts were simply the best!! -
