I had a great stay at Country Cottage anguilla. It's in a quiet area of the island but is still close to great beaches and restaurants.
The Cottage itself is clean, comfortable and appointed with everything you would expect in a home away from home. I used the kitchen to cook a few meals when I just didn't feel like heading out for dinner and everything I needed was provided in the Cottage. They even provide a local cell phone for use during your stay. You just have to load money onto it at any one of the many top-up locations on the island.
The owners are very nice, accessible when needed and were helpful in answering my questions about the island.
I'll stay here again, for sure!

Within a day, we felt like it was our own little place - coming "home" every day after our adventures around the island. This clean, bright, colorful, and breezy cottage enhanced the feeling of peace and tranquility that one already feels on anguilla. I was happier and more comfortable spending a week here than I have been in the most expensive resort hotels - and what a bang for the buck!

Country Cottage is the perfect spot for independent travelers. The cottage is located on the east end of the island in a quiet neighbourhood. Country Cottage is spacious,clean and well equipped and the owners(Bonnie and Isaiah) are nearby if you nead them. This was our first stay at Country Cottage and it most definitely will not be our last. Thanks for a wonderful stay Bonnie and Isaiah. See you soon.

We were not able to get to anguilla in 2012, but were thrilled to get back this year. We were lucky to be able to stay at the County Cottage with Bonnie and Isaiah again. This place is so lovely and clean. It has all the amenities we could possibly need. Love that there is a cooler and chairs to bring to the beach. Can't imagine staying anywhere else. Best accomodations and value on the island.

We prefer self-catered accommodation rather than hotels and all-inclusive resorts and Country Cottage suited us perfectly. It was bright and breezy (we never used the air conditioner), comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We ate our meals on the verandah and enjoyed the view over the treetops to nearby St. Martin.
Bonnie, Isaiah & Isaac were wonderful hosts; happy to provide suggestions for exploring the island, shopping for groceries and dining out. We are particularly interested in nature and the environment and appreciated Bonnie's willingness to share her vast knowledge of anguilla ecology.
It isn't beach front but world-famous Shoal Bay Beach is just a few minutes away. It is a rare opportunity to experience real anguilla living - away from the pretence and excesses of the big resorts.
We'll be back. -

I just got back from a month stay at the Country Cottage and the lodgings, people, and island on the whole exceeded my expectations. Upon arriving to the understated allure of Blowing Point Ferry Terminal, to the easy ride into the quieter, eastern half of the island, to the winding sandy path back to Bonnie and Isaiah's beautifully appointed cottage, I was steadily lulled into a natural, relaxed state of being.
I was using this time for a working vacation, and the property provides a perfect oasis to focus and be productive when needed, all the while unwinding and rejuvenating within a natural, authentic anguillian setting. The cottage is clean, comfortable, vibrant and provides all the amenities needed for a home away from home. But, included with this home, is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to at your fingertips. The first time I saw the bay from the bluff, I almost veered off the road it was so breath taking.
Bonnie and Isaiah are gracious, genuine, well informed hosts offering all the privacy you need. They welcome you into their easy going slice of serenity, where the unseen can be as profound as the physical beauty, and let you enjoy your space.

I had a great 10-day stay at the Country Cottage anguilla. It's obvious that the owners pay a lot of attention to the details as all of the little things about this property are what make it so wonderful. I don't think that there is anything more that I could have wanted during my stay because the Cottage provided everything from pots and pans to cook with, to a local cell phone to use during your stay, and even board games to play while hanging out at "home". The location is quiet and safe and the Cottage itself is well-kept and clean.
Bonnie and Isaiah are great hosts who will go to all ends to make your stay comfortable and fun. They answered all of my questions about the island and how to find any hot spots I was looking for.
I enjoyed my stay at the Country Cottage anguilla and I will definitely return in the future. -

Our stay at Country Cottage was just what we expected based on the pictures and previous reviews.We traveled in July and didn't find the need for a/C due to the breezes the cottage provided due to its location above the trees and the bedroom had a powerful fan.The cottage itself is very bright, airy and spacious.Kitchen was well equipped for our needs and a few drinks and water were provided in the fridg upon check-in.Bathroom contained fluffy towels both for bath and beach and a wonderful shower area hand built by Isaiah.Bedroom had loads of room and an extremely comfortable king sized bed with lots of reading material. Bonnie was a wonderful host who provides you with a cell phone to use on the island. Living room had lots of reading material about the island and various menus to look over. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.It's a perfect base to explore the island.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 8 days, 9 nights in March. We could not have asked for a warmer welcome from Bonnie and Isaiah or a more ideal location for a villa off the road and privately kept.
Though not on the beach, we didn't have trouble with the 5 minute drive to Shoal Bay east. The setting of this cottage is on a private drive, surrounded by lush greenery and we always could rely on Bonnie to get us the info we needed about the area-grocery stores, liquor store, ATM, gas. She even provided a cell pone for us to use which was enormously helpful! The interior is immaculate-beautiful tile flooring and very spacious. Best of all, windows everywhere to let in the breeze. A must stay - Thanks to Bonnie and Isaiah! -

Country Cottage anguilla had everything we needed for a fabulous vacation! It is charming, clean, & breezy. It is in a safe neighborhood in a great location - near Shoal Bay East. Bonnie & Isaiah are friendly hosts who make sure you have everything you need. Kitchen is well-stocked, and it was nice to have beach chairs and a cooler to use. And wi-fi! We love anguilla, and Country Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. We can't wait to come back!!

This fabulous cottage is quiet, airy, tropical, well kept and very comfortable. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Shoal Bay is our favorite beach in the world and only a short drive or walk. The owners Bonnie and Isaiah are very accommodating.
Anguilla is wonderfully friendly and charming. We will be back! -

A perfect spot for independent travelers looking for privacy, peace and a true feel of island life. The spacious apartment is beautifully appointed with a full kitchen and separate bedroom. The hosts are warm, friendly and nearby if you need help with area suggestions and information. To top it all off, the location has great views and is only a few minutes drive from beautiful beaches and restaurants. Have spent two vacations at Country Cottages and will definitely be back again in the future.

Country Cottage anguilla is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on the eastern side of anguilla. I had a great 6-night stay there in april 2011 and it was the perfect home-base for me on my vacation.
The unit was very clean, spacious, nicely decorated, and unbelievably well-appointed. It had all of the basics that you might expect in any rental villa/hotel room, plus extras like coolers & beach chairs that you can take with you to the beach, clothes drying racks, basic spices for cooking (in the full kitchen) and even a small stock of drinks and snacks upon check-in.
The Cottage is very close to Shoal Bay East (SBE), one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen (including in photographs). Please trust me when I say this is not an exaggeration! The restaurants and beach bars at SBE make that area a great place to spend the day.
Since you pretty much need a car no matter where you stay in anguilla, getting to SBE took less than 10 minutes driving from the Cottage, and I probably took the long way to get there! It takes only about 30-45 minutes to drive from one end of the island to the other, anyway, so nowhere is too far of a drive.
The owners of Country Cottage anguilla, the Flemings, clearly have every detail in mind when guests stay in their property - they want everything to be perfect during your stay. They live right next door and are easy to reach by phone (if necessary) and seem very happy to help you with anything that you might need (directions, recommendations, extra towels etc).
I was just as happy & comfortable at the Country Cottage anguilla as I've been at high-end resorts in the past. Plus, the rates at the Cottage are hard to beat in anguilla, and I definitely like saving my money for trying the different restaurants on the island.
I would definitely stay at Country Cottage anguilla again, and I would send my friends there in a heartbeat! -

We were blessed enough to find this apartment 4 years ago. It is very close to our favorite beach in anguilla (Shoal Bay). It is very clean and bright. We have stayed here 3 years and have always felt very welcome, safe and comfortable. Isaiah and Bonnie (the owners) are wonderful and accomodating. It has everything you need to feel like home. There is a little grill, great kitchen appliances and utensils, and they even have a few beach chairs and a cooler in case you want to go beach exploring for a day. We will only stay here when visiting anguilla. It is a diamond in the rough!!!

I have vacationed in anguilla for more than 25 years. I found County Cottage the first year they opened. It has been my home away from home since. The owners, Bonnie and Isaiah make sure your every need is met. The cottage is spotloss. The full kitchen is perfect. You can see by the photos how lovely it is. So peaceful. I hate leaving. It is a hop and skip over to one of the best beaches in the world, Shoal Bay, and if you like to walk, within walking distance to a fab french bakery. I highly recommend County Cottage and vacationing in anguilla.
