Sleeping up to three people in two bedrooms, this semi-detached barn conversion is set mainly over the first floor, on the owners' land 2 miles from Shobdon in Herefordshire. The Loft is a holiday property set mainly over the first floor of a semi-detached stone barn conversion, on the owners' land 2 miles from Shobdon in Herefordshire. The property has a double and a single room, a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room. There is also a ground floor cloakroom. Outside is off road parking, and a private sitting area with furniture, along with use of the owners' 4 acres of grounds. The Lof...t is ideally placed for Hay-on-Wye, Presteigne, Hereford, Ludlow and a variety of NT houses and gardens; a charming year-round retreat.

Amenities: Gas central heating. Gas oven and hob, microwave, larder fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, telephone (incoming calls only). Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. rent. Cot. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lockable bike storage. Gravelled sitting area to the side with furniture and BBQ. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  This lovely 2-bedroom flat fulfilled our needs wonderfully during a wedding trip we took from Montreal, Canada to the Herefordshire area in February 2013. Entering the front door, there is an entrance area with a modern laundry room off to the left. Climbing the stairs on the right we found our well-appointed flat with 2 bedrooms, a nice living room/dining room, a full bathroom with lovely toiletries, and a large kitchen whose refrigerator came stocked with farm fresh eggs, bacon, butter, milk and 4 small pots of different types of jam and honey. The kitchen also had sugar, tea and fresh coffee for the coffee maker. Wonderful! The hosts had thought of everything! The price was very reasonable, too. We would unreservedly recommend this rental for anyone. The kindness and hospitality of the owners Sue and John was remarkable throughout our visit. All in all, a highly enjoyable stay!
