This Grade II listed, detached cottage is located in the village of Shorwell on the Isle of Wight and can sleep eight people in three bedrooms. Little Thatch Cottage certainly lives up to its name. The 18th Century, Grade II listed, detached thatched cottage is located in the village of Shorwell near to Newport on the Isle of Wight. With two king size double bedrooms (one with ensuite facilities), one twin bedroom, an additional sofa bed in the lounge and a family shower room, this cottage can sleep up to eight people. The cottage also boasts a galley style fitted kitchen, a dining room with doors to a courtyard and two sitting rooms - one w...ith a sofabed and the other with a woodburning stove. To the exterior of the cottage is a large lawned garden with a courtyard, decked areas, outdoor furniture, and a summer house with games and a tree house, as well as covered bike storage and off road parking for three cars. With a cottage as delightful as Little Thatch, you may never want to leave the grounds, but if you do venture further afield, the whole of the Isle of Wight is ready for you to explore.

All gas and electricity inc. in rent, please bring own fuel for woodburner. Bed linen inc. in rent (linen not provided for sofa bed). Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Off road parking for 3 cars. Covered bike storage. Large lawned garden with courtyard, decked areas, furniture, summerhouse with table games and tree house. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk.

Town: The village of Shorwell, close to the south coast of the Isle of Wight, was said to be one of Queen Victoria's favourite places to visit. The village is well served by a local pub serving good food and ales, a village shop and post office. The area offers miles of footpaths and bridleways, picturesque villages and breathtaking coastal scenery. Within a short drive can be found several beautiful beaches, the popular pleasure park at Blackgang Chine, and the bustling town of Newport with its shops, restaurants, arts centre and cinema. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
