      An outstanding holiday cottage

Left on 05/12/2013 for a stay in May 2013

We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years, but Rith Chalet stands out as the best. A lovely experience, starting with the warm welcome extended by the owners and continuing right through to every aspect of the holiday cottage experience. All the essentials are there par excellence - cleanliness, comfort and equipment - but added to those are its lovely setting and open outlook (plenty of wildlife to observe) and its convenience for Stratford upon avon (a short walk down a pleasant footpath to the town centre). A beautifully thought out cottage, backed by owners who really care, it was the perfect base for our holiday. Hugely recommended.

      Warm welcome guaranteed

Left on 10/28/2012 for a stay in October 2012

My husband and I have recently returned from our second week staying in Rith Chalet. Yet again nothing has disappointed us. Rith Chalet, with its spacious grounds, is peaceful and relaxing. You can always guarantee a warm welcome from the owners. We have enjoyed Shakespeare's county and travelling further afield to the national trust houses. Hopefully, we will be returning again at Easter for another welcoming break in this great little cottage.

      Fabulous cottage

Left on 10/03/2012 for a stay in September 2012

Stayed here in September and cannot recommend the cottage enough. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and the bottle of wine was much appreciated. The cottage is so well located, being close enough to Stratford to walk in and having a very nice pub within 2 minutes walk as well. We visited more National Trust houses that you could shake a stick at and had a saw a fabulous production of Much ado about Nothing at the Courtyard Theatre. This area has such a wealth of attractions and gorgeous countryside. Really enjoyed our stay.

      A real home from home

Left on 07/23/2012 for a stay in June 2012

Having stayed in various cottages in locations in England and Wales this is by far the most well equipped and clean cottage we have ever stayed in. We were made to feel very welcome by Tina and Jim on arrival who were very friendly and the cottage is also in an excellent location for visiting many lovely places. Excellent holiday and im sure if Tina and Jim could have booked the weather for us they would have done this as well

      Thank You

Lovely cottage in beautiful grounds and very friendly owners

Left on 06/28/2012 for a stay in April 2012

The cottage is well equipt and it is always nice to find a bottle of wine to welcome you. Tina and Jim are very willing to help and offer advice about local site and tourist attractions. The gated garden is large and secure, with an abundance of wide life. Ann Hathaways cottage is within walking distance and the local pub is even closer serving very good food. We will be going again.

      Rith Chalet

Left on 12/02/2011 for a stay in October 2011

Rith Calet is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in, spacious, spotlessly clean and well equiped and maintained well and in a good location for exploring the area. Plenty of National Trust properties in the area. The owners were wellcoming but not intrusive. Local pub a few minutes walk away good for meals.

Very spacious and comfortable, and warm, especially important as most days we were there the temperature was way below freezing. Welcome card and wine were a thoughtful finishing touch.15 minute walk to town centre.Great pub for meals 2 minutes walk away. Cottage itself very well equipped with lovely garden views. We hope to go again later this year.Ideal for Stratford, warwick and Cotswolds a real find.

      What a find

Left on 11/06/2010 for a stay in August 2010

Rith Chalet was the best cottage we have ever stayed in. It was immaculate and had every comfort needed to enjoy a holiday. The situation was perfect as it was so quiet and private. It felt like being in one's own grounds complete with squirrels and fox.
We have booked to go next summer and have already recommended the accommodation to friends

Could not have been better !

Left on 12/03/2009 for a stay in April 2009

We received a very warm welcome from the owners who lived just to the rear of the cottage in a beautiful house. Both properties stood in private grounds very close to Anne Hathaway's cottage. The cottage was spacious, nicely furnished and decorated and had everything required for a comfortable stay.
It is possible to walk into the centre of Stratford on a very nice flat and easy path, taking approximately 15 minutes, which means of course that there is no problem with parking. There is a pub just 5 minutes walk away which serves good food at reasonable prices. There is an abundance of eating places at all prices in Stratford.
Most of the historical places of interest are within walking distance, although some can be expensive.
Whilst staying here, we visited Bath, Oxford and Warwick Castle (highly recommended !) and also did some walking in the Black Mountains near to Brecon.
This is by far the best cottage we have stayed in, in every respect, and I cannot think of anything that we didn't like.
I would unreservedly recommend this property.
