A charming cottage attached to a country house in the hamlet of Meeson in Shropshire. This cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms.Courtyard Cottage is a lovely cottage is attached to the rear of Meeson Hall, a magnificent country house set in the rural hamlet of Meeson, thirteen miles from Ironbridge in Shropshire. This cottage sleeps five people and has three bedrooms consisting of one king-size double with an en-suite shower room and one ground floor single as well as a family bathroom. There is also a fitted kitchen with dining area and a galleried sitting room with woodburner at this cottage. Outside, this cottage has off road parking for 3 cars, a private front courtyard garden with furniture and BBQ and shared use of the owner's 8 acres of gardens, paddocks and wood. Courtyard Cottage is a perfect holiday home for a couple or family who wish to visit the many attractions close by or explore the wonderful Shropshire countryside.

Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburner in sitting room. Double electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Bike storage. Private front courtyard garden with furniture and BBQ. Bicycles are available to hire from owner at additional cost, to be used at own risk. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2.5 miles. Please note: a starter pack of logs will be provided upon arrival, and further logs can then be purchased.

Region: A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was "the quietest place under the sun" and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Town: Meeson is a rural hamlet set amongst lovely countryside. The Ironbridge Gorge is only thirteen miles away, which boasts the world famous bridge, plus the village of Ironbridge has shops, pubs, restaurants and tea rooms. There are a number of attractions nearby which suit all tastes.
