Three Bedroom Split Level Detached Cottage Siena area

Scenic 9 is a gorgeous detached cottage on the edge of a lovely estate in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Beautifully furnished in country style the cottage is complete with today?s modern comforts and has its? own terrace shaded by a pergola. The well kept grounds of the estate are filled with flowers and there is plenty of space for relaxing around the large swimming pool situated in a stunning elevated position enjoying wonderful views of wooded hills rolling gently towards Siena.

Scenic 9 is a lovely detached cottage close to the entrance of the estate and completely... separate to the main farmhouse and further annex where there are 8 more apartments. Spacious and very comfortably furnished the cottage retains many of the original characteristics such as beamed ceilings and pastel coloured walls create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Modern comforts including dishwashers, satellite televisions, WiFi fast internet connection (on request), create the finishing touches.

The cottage is built on a slope and is on two floors each with direct access to the outside. The upper floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen with fireplace and dining table and chairs, a couple of steps lead to a spacious lounge with settees and satellite television, and there is a double bedroom (which can convert to a twin on request) and a shower room. The lower floor has two pretty double bedrooms both opening directly to the outside and two shower rooms. The cottage has its own terrace which is shaded by a pergola and furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco. There is also a barbecue and washing machine.

In a fantastic elevated position on the estate is an exquisite swimming pool (16m x 8m) surrounded by a large sun terrace and enjoying lovely views of the countryside. The perfect spot for relaxing and taking a cooling dip.

The little village of Pievescola is just 3 kms away and has a handy local shop, larger Colle di Val d?Elsa with its supermarket and further amenities is just 15 minutes away by car and there is a good selection of restaurants within easy driving distance.

There is plenty to see in the area, both Florence and Siena are easily accessible via nearby road and bus links and many of Tuscany?s other treasures including the medieval town of San Gimignano and San Galgano with its roofless cathedral and sword in the stone are within easy reach.

  Nous avons passé une excellente semaine, au calme, en août 2012 dans cette très belle maison totalement individuelle et séparée du reste des autres locations du domaine.
  Très bon accueil du responsable du domaine qui parle très bien le français.
  Maison meublée avec goût dans le style toscan. Jardin, terrasses, pergola, barbecue, vaste buanderie avec lave linge.
  Dans les chambres, excellente literie. 3 salles de bains. Tv écran plat. Internet wifi.
  Magnifique piscine (16x8) située en position surélevée, très bien entretenue, entourée d'un solarium avec parasols et transat en nombre très suffisant.
  Domaine très bien entretenu avec une végétation méditerranéenne.
  La maison est idéalement située géographiquement pour visiter la Toscane (Florence, Sienne, San Gimignano...).
  Une seule petite remarque : il faisait très chaud cet été en Italie et une climatisation ou au moins des ventilateurs auraient été les bienvenus.
  Location à recommander vivement.

  Het domein "scenic 9" is een heel mooi verzorgd domein met een prachtig zicht op de Italiaanse omgeving. De ontvangst en dienstverlening op het domein waren heel hartelijk. Een plaatsje om je thuis te voelen omdat de beheerders van het domein behulpzaam en discreet zijn. Tot onze verrassing kregen we na een weekje verblijf fris nieuw beddegoed en bad- en keukenhanddoeken.
  Siena, Firenze, Volterra en San Giminano liggen op korte afstand en zijn elk op zich meer dan de moeite waard om te bezoeken.
  Een aanrader!

  A very beautiful villa on a magnificent domain (hamlet)

  We are very happy of our stay of one week in the Villa Scenic 9.
  Everything was completed perfect.
  The place right in the heart of the Chianti, the extraordinary domain (hamlet) with its magnificent swimming pool. The villa is also beautiful as on all the photos. It's offers a lot of intimacy for friends or the family. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are beautiful and spacious.The manager is very accueuillant and helpful.
