Set in the Montagnola Senese just 18 km (12 miles) from Siena, Casa del Fantino (sleeps 4) is a cozy house located in the main Castello courtyard of the Spannocchia estate. The house is adjacent to Casa Dami and near the swimming pool, guest office, shop, and main Villa dining room where dinners may be taken with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms, one with an extra sleeping loft, a spacious bathroom with a full tub/shower and a washing machine, and a small reading nook perfect for curling up with a good book. Welcome to Tenuta di Spannocchia! We offer week-long vacation rentals in our rustic farmhouses and nightly stays in the bed and breakfast at the Castello, which also houses Spannocchia Foundation education and enrichment program groups. Accommodations are available to members of the Spannocchia Foundation, whether visiting Spannocchia to participate in Foundation activities or simply to explore the Tuscan countryside and find peace and tranquility while on vacation. Membership is open to all and can be completed at the time of making a reservation. We hope to see you at Spannocchia this year!

If you want an experience of a lifetime, come to Spannocchia! You will not be disappointed. From the breathtaking scenery to the wonderful interns, your stay will be so unforgettable you will be thinking of your next visit before you leave. After three summer visits, my family looks at Spannocchia as a home away from home. Pizza Night is always a hit with teenagers and kids and the cooking class is fabulous. Put Spannocchia on your must do's...you won't be disappointed.

I travelled with my husband, two teenage sons and an 8 yr old daughter. We all found the experience to be one we will never forget. The place is beautiful and ancient and special...there are not enough words to describe the views, animals, people--the history and the here and now. Explore every path, every secret staircase, take all the tours and learn about their gardens, kitchen, pigs, and history- we all found it fascinating. The Foundation and people on site work very hard to protect the past and bring the farm into the future. Extraordinary place and knowledgable people who care a great deal about keeping it that way. We have already recommended it to friends- they have their casa booked!
