Appartamento Prosperina A is a characteristic two-story apartment created inside an ancient watch tower. It sleeps four people. From Appartamento Prosperina A you will have a pleasant view of the Valley and of the hills. Appartamento Prosperina A is 100 square meters (1076 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a shared garden and winter heating.
You will be roughly 4.5 km (2.8 miles) from Iesa Palazzo , where you will find a grocery store. You will find the closest restaurant at 1 km (roughly 1100 yards).

The Prosperina Apartments are part of an old stone farmhouse, dating back to the fourtheenth century. It was once used as a Sienese watchtower. It has been now renovated and separated into five holiday apartments.
The farmhouse, which features a typical arcade, is located in a beautiful position with a splendid view on Mount Amiata and the Ombrone Valley.
Walking down a path which is called "Sentiero del Cavaliere" (The Knight's Path), in a few minutes you will reach a small lake where you will be able to fish (bring your own fishing rods!).
From the "Sentiero del Cavaliere" you can reach the "Strada della Pia" that leads you to the old Terme di Petriolo (Petriolo Baths). Its a beautiful stroll which is not to be missed.
The old farmhouse belongs to a large farm which occupies about 1300 hectares of land. Located in the Basso Merse Oasis, the farm is surrounded by the green Sienese hills. There are several farmhouses in this large farm, five of which have been renovated and have now become holiday homes.
While staying in the farm, you might come across a few species of wild animals like: wild boars, deers, foxes, porcupines, roes who go to drink in the river Farma or in the river Merse, flowing in these lands.
In the farm, you will also find a restaurant, a church dedicated to Saint Philip and Saint James, riding stables where you can rent a horse for beautiful tours and an office where you can rent bikes.
Walking up along River Farma you could reach the natural baths of Petriolo where you can relax in therapeutic waters.
In the farm, about 750 hecatres of land are used as a shooting ground. There are also some fenced areas where some local vanishing species are bred in the wild such as the Maremmana cows, the Cinta Senese pigs and the Maremmana Boars. In the restaurant of the farm, you will be able to taste traditional dishes made with the meat deriving from these breeding.
The swimming pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 11 meters (36 feet) long, 1.4 meters (4.6 feet) deep. The swimming pool area is equipped with a table and chairs. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a fascinating view of the Tuscan countryside and of the vegetation. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. It is open from the beginning of June until the end of September.
The patio is 50 square meters (540 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by an ancient porch made of stone. It is equipped with a table and chairs. Here you will also find a barbecue. From the patio you will have a pleasant view of the garden. You will share the patio with the other guests staying at the complex.
The garden is 500 square meters (5380 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a gazebo and by trees. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the garden you will have a splendid view of the vegetation. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex.
The furnishings of the living room are rural and characteristic of the Tuscan house. The furnishings include a sofa. There is a big fireplace made of bricks. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a small refrigerator with freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate four guests. The room has a window.
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the first living room. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower.
The second living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are classic and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include a small wood sofa. There is an age-old fireplace made of stone. The room has a window.
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the second living room through a corridor. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the garden.
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the second living room.
