A cypress tree lined road will lead you to Colonica Siena and it represents a perfect introduction to this amazing villa located just 15 minutes walking from Piazza del Campo, the very heart of Siena. From its privileged hilltop position it enjoys spectacular views over the countryside surrounding covered with fields and the town of Siena with the tower of the Town Hall and the Duomo.

The restoration of the villa has just been completed with great care to details and maintaining its original structural features. Colonica Siena has been furnished in the typical Tuscan style and thanks to the large windows all the rooms are bright and lum...inous.

Built on top of the hill where the monastery of Santa Chiara in the XVII century stood still, as you recall from the small church beside the villa, it ensures complete quiet and relaxation few minutes from all the amenities included the bus stop just 100 meters away.

ACCOMODATION

Colonica Siena is 95 square meters and it extends over two floors.

The furnishing is in the original Tuscan style where the rural tradition perfectly melts with the elegance of the city nearby.

On the ground floor you are welcomed by a large living room with fireplace, a smaller sitting room with single sofa bed and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with shower. On the first floor there are two bedrooms (one twin and one double) and one bathroom with shower.

The villa has air conditioning on the first floor, internet connexion, TV sat, CD and DVD players and washing machine.

GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL

The wrought iron portico welcomes you in front of the main entrance for your al fresco dinners or simply to relax while reading a book. It is equipped with table and chairs and also sofas.

The exterior of the villa boasts a paved floor and lawn dotted with flower pots leading you to the swimming pool (14 x 7 meters) fully equipped with sun lounges and sun umbrellas. Surrounding, the 3 hectare estate is at your disposal for undisturbed walks through the olive groves.

Additional Location Information

Colonica Siena is 15 minutes walking from the famous Campo square in Siena and even closer to the main facilities such as bus stop, supermarket, bars about 100 meters away. Any kind of shop is available within 400 meters.

It is also within easy reach of all the most important Tuscan places of interest. It is about 45 minutes from Florence. The nearest airport is Florence (1 hour as it is north of the city) followed by Pisa (1 and a half hours) and Rome about 2 ¾ hours by car.

The prices include: water, gas for cooking, electricity, towels, bed and bath linens, WI-FI internet connection, air conditioning, baby cot and high chair (only on request), use of swimming pool (during opening period).

The prices exclude: final cleaning: Euro 100.00, heating: on consuption (metre reading on arrival and departure).
