Villa Caprera is a beautiful XIX Century Liberty villa close to the Medioeval city of Siena surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and cypress trees.
At walking distance there are local shops and Siena is just 3 kms from the Villa. There is horse riding close by and country tracks for cycling and walking. 15 min from the villa is Bagni San Filippo with its natural hot springs. The closest bus stop is 300m from the villa.

The villa is located in a small village just 3km away from Siena. It is an ideal location for visiting the famous city, the Chianti countryside and the towns of Montalcino, Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Pienza and San Galgano and for attending Siena's Palio.
Beautiful wineries in the area are open to the public for visit and wine testing of Brunello, Chianti and Nobile and olive oil production
Close to the villa is the ancient Monastery, built in the X sec AC.
The thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni and Petriolo are popular attractions.
The Maremma sandy beaches are 1 hour drive from Caprera.

A beautifully appointed home, with mercifully two batherooms, tastefully decorated with all that you need. The kitchen is a dream - everything you need. Lovely crockery, not bottom-of-the-range, and the bed linen also of excellent quality. Easy access to Siena, on the bus-route - useful to go into Siena by bus, because parking can be a nightmare in Siena itself. Lovely view of Siena, from the top floor. So all in all, this is a hard place to beat, if you want a few days, or longer, just to chill-out and relax and you would be forgiven for thinking Maggie Smith is going to come walking up the drive-way...
