Built in 1840 the property is a fine example of a Tuscan country villa situated with its farm buildings on a plateau atop a ridge of hills at 500 m, with a wide park-like expanse of lawn and garden circled by woods in 15 hectares. The buildings, which have been lovingly restored without altering their original characteristics, provide a high standard of furnishings and fittings and decorations are carefully chosen using warm colours that compliment the locally made furniture.
