Additional Location Information
It is all here at Midnight Cove in Siesta Key, the elegant beach to bay vacation condominium resort. Siesta Key is an eight-mile long barrier island, just offshore of Sarasota, directly on the Gulf of Mexico, and has the finest soft white sand beaches in the state. The sand is 99% pure quartz, soft and cool on the feet. Siesta Key has three wonderful beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, where you can play, relax, or walk along the water's edge, Crescent Beach, Turtle Beach, and Siesta Key Public Beach.
Crescent Beach offers lush, white sands, azure waters, and stunning sunsets, but it is relatively secluded and quiet, as it has only one public access road. Located just south of Siesta Public Beach, the beach scene here tends to be more peaceful and private. Crescent Beach, noted for its crescent shape, extends for 2 ½ miles from the northern tip of Siesta Key, south past Siesta Key Public Beach to Point of Rocks, a lovely snorkeling and diving area that is rich with coral rock formations as well as colorful and abundant marine life. There are no lifeguards or facilities available to the public on Crescent Beach.
Turtle Beach is located on the south end of Siesta Key. The sand on Turtle Beach is a bit courser, browner and with a greater shell consistency than on Crescent Beach and Siesta Key Public Beach to the north. Less crowded than Siesta Key Public Beach, and offers plenty of free parking. A short ½ mile walk south offers access to Palmer Point Beach on Casey Key. Turtle Beach has no lifeguards, but has restrooms, picnic tables and showers.
Siesta Key Public Beach offering the same lush, white sands, azure waters, and stunning sunsets, is located on the north end of Siesta Key, and is ¾ of a mile long. There are 800 parking spaces to accommodate visitors, shallow water depth in the near shore area, and year round lifeguard protection. Siesta Key Public Beach is within easy walking distance of Siesta Village, with many quaint shops, restaurants and nightly entertainment. Siesta Key Public Beach also has food and souvenir concessions, restrooms, picnic tables and showers.
Enjoy the sunshine and tropical breeze while you track the flight of pelicans and shorebirds, and keep an eye out for the playful dolphins. Take your pick of fishing, shelling, swimming, para-sailing, boating, snorkeling, or just walking the beach. Enjoy your holiday in the Florida sunshine relaxing on a private piece of world famous Crescent Beach with silky white quartz sands to walk, sunbathe and enjoy the warm tanning rays of the sun, go shelling, or plunge into the sparkling aqua blue Gulf of Mexico. Everything you need is within walking distance, grocery, pharmacy, bank, post office, courier service, boutiques, salons, liquor store, fine restaurants and entertainment and seafood houses, even a marina. Boat, fishing and para-sailing charters, jet-ski and bike rentals are available. Twenty golf courses are nearby if that is your leisure. The tropical climate on Siesta Key offers you rest, relaxation and recreation. Test your tennis game or enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool. Miles of beach, plus salt air and gentle breezes from the Gulf of Mexico add up to a dream vacation.

We are long time visitors to Siesta Key and this condo fits all our requirements to a "T. Our view of palm trees, boat park and waterway to the inter coastal was a daily delight and oh so "Florida". Pedestrian walkway to the beach is both handy and very safe. Having access to beach chairs and washrooms a bonus. Vic was very co-operative with our needs.

Arrived just a few days after tropical storm Debby had left the Sarasota area this year, but the premises were just as spotless as before. The condo is great with everything a family need. 3rd time we booked with Vic and everything is troublefree :-)

Excellent condo rental!! Would highly recommend!! Unit is updated and beautifully nestled just across the street from beach. Prefer this property over units on beach side as it is very quiet and the pool is never crowded. Owner is a jewel to work with and accommodations at Midnight Cove are second to none!!

All we hoped for & more. The condo was very comfortable & well equipped - the lanai was nice overlooking the pool & boat dock. The complex grounds & pool were well looked after & it was nice to have access across the road to the wonderful sands of Crescent Beach for walks & to watch the sunset. Midnight Cove also has quick access back over the bridge to explore further afield. We hired a boat from the nearby marina which was on special & explored the waterway down to Venice & up to Sarasota. We look forward to returning - a real home from home.

Booking with Vic was very easy. The home was easy to find and so beautiful. It is just a short walk to the beach or pool. Beach furniture was provided and comfortable. Providing beach towels would be a great help for those of us who fly. The washcloth supply is very low and sheets and pillows really need to be replaced. The steps were the worst part of the stay. Overall this was one of the best vacations our family has taken. I look forward to returning soon and would book with Vic again.

Owner
Unfortunately, after many years (since 1988), because of the liberties taken by certain guests, we decided to no longer provide those colorful beach towels in the unit, as they tended to walk away or worse, got traded for worn out ones, resulting in the problem of numerous complaints and negative comments from guests.
There is an adequate supply of bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and dish cloths in the unit for 4 persons, as well as a washer and dryer for guest use. After a review in September of 2010, the pillows in the unit were all replaced, and also 2 additional sets each of flat, fitted, and pillow case linens were purchased for the queen and the 2 twin beds. The unit inventory is reviewed annually, and also additions are made when advised to do so by the cleaning staff supervisor.
The usual routine of cleaning staff when they arrive to do a departure clean, is to remove the linens from all of the beds used, wash, dry, and then place the same linens back onto the beds, eliminating the need to have to fold them and place them into the appropriate places in the linen closet, had replacement sets from the closet been used for the beds. When the same linens are used repeatedly, a certain amount of obvious wear will be the end result. The cleaning company has again been contacted to instruct their cleaning staff to rotate the bed linens, and eliminate this problem.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in #532. To sum it up - it's a really nice place where it's easy to relax. The condo is well equipped with up-to-date equipment. It's almost like being home! The lost star for service is really not Vic's fault, but related to a little slow pool maintenance this year. We would of course enjoy coming back for the third time :-) Og om det er noen nordmenn her så kan de be Vic om å gi dere mailadressen vår, så skal vi gjerne svare på spørsmål.

Once again we had the pleasure of staying at #532 Midnight Cove for six weeks. We could not ask for a better location, and as always, everything was very serene and totally relaxing. The location is perfect, giving us access to the beach, two pools, the club house, tennis courts and barbecues and shopping nearby. Perfect - we recommend it highly.

We've been traveling to Siesta Key for the past 13 years. It is a beautiful area that is within walking distance to the beach, pool, restaurants, and shopping. Vic was easy to work with and communicated well with us about our stay and accomodations throughout the entire process.

The location of the condo is most ideal! Only steps from the pool & lagoon/docks. The walk to beach is very minimal and having access to beach umbrellas & loungers was the icing on the cake.
Only suggestion as a guest - if you plan on going to beach the day you get in, you'll want to arrive prior to the office closing; otherwise your name want be on the 'list' for beach loungers/umbrellas. -

Very nice, clean condo with all the amenities you would need. Just steps from the pool and actoss the street from the beach.
Everything was Perfect.
The only downfall is that it is on the 3rd story, lugging groceries and a suitcase up the stairs was a challenge. So perhaps not for the Elderly..
I would stay there again in a second!! -

Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, CanadaAnother relaxing, enjoyable experience
Left on 04/29/2010 for a stay in February 2010
This is the second time that we have rented this unit, and we booked for
6 weeks February through March 2010.
Once again we had a marvelous time in this unit despite the very cold
weather in February. The unit itself is very elegant, uncluttered and with
many updates to the kitchen and bathrooms etc. It was unusual to have to put
theheating on occasionally but February was exceptionally cold.
The beach is unsurpassed, with its brilliant white sand and beautiful shoreline,
the local shopping is very easy, especially with so many bargains due to the
economy. This unit is ideal because it is close to the pool on the bay side,
has access to the pool on the gulf side, is also close to the Club House and
parking is right beside the unit. There are so many activities to enjoy that we
would have loved to stay longer.

Left on 04/26/2010 for a stay in April 2010
We have stayed in Midnight Cove #532 3 times now. Very nice condo, everything has been nicely updated (granite in kitchen, b/r's) and it has in-unit laundry. It's a bit of a squeeze with 3 kids, but worth the squeeze! The location is great as well. We stayed on the gulf-side for years at Siesta key and thought we would regret staying on the inter-coastal side. Wow were we wrong! The bay-side pool is beautiful and very private and the view is spectacular. Quick walk to the beach, so getting back and forth is not a problem. Enjoy!
