As a gulf-side property, it's easy on the wallet while its lovely atmosphere makes it a great home to return to for relaxing evenings and memorable chats under the stars. <br/>Siesta Dunes Beach is a resort packed with amenities and your days can be as action-filled as you choose. A heated pool and spa include the choice of a family pool or relaxing spa. Beach-front tennis courts drop you into paradise, though you might retrieve a long shot in th...e sand. You've never played under blue skies like these. Please note: While this condo is located on the gulf side, it is neither gulf-front nor does it have a gulf view. <br/>Meals outside are the best part of any vacation - and your time at Siesta Dunes is no exception. Fantastic spaces for beach barbecues are provided, as are casual picnic areas on the beachside deck. They're absolutely ideal for the gulf coast's sunsets! If you fancy something more impromptu, prepare a picnic-to-go from the comfort of your condo's full kitchen and trot barefoot down the beach, finding somewhere to spread out and call your own. The beach's pure quartz sand is as soft as it gets - which family member will you 'bury' first? <br/>The condo sleeps six guests in its two bedrooms; a master bedroom (two queen beds) and guest bedroom (two twin beds). Families traveling with children will find this the perfect arrangement. Your master suite is decked in tropical linens, dotted with hibiscus, and has tasteful cream walls and accents. It's a bright and cheerful room, made all the more so thanks to private access to your serene lanai. Your suite's bathroom has enormous counter space as well as a large shower. <br/>Bright stripes in the guest bedroom make a feature of the unit's gulf location. Seaside prints and great storage complete a comfortable room. Guests have use of the unit's second bathroom, which has a full bathtub and shower. <br/>A TV, DVD player, Internet access and even in-suite laundry are all provided for your comfort and convenience. A lovely living area is furnished like a real home - for a look that's complete and inviting. Two large sofas and a stuffed arm chair ring a tasteful area rug - with coffee and side tables for stashing things like cameras, cell phones and your latest book. Lamps and overhead lighting make it an ideal room for reading - although your entertainment unit with TV and DVD player might prefer otherwise. <br/>Gorgeous outside private spaces include both a large, glassed-in lanai and separate outdoor patio. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the lanai is a uniquely outdoor room. It's fully temperature-controlled so, even when it's hot outside, you can enjoy the room all day.   It took us 3 days to get at Siesta Key. When we arrived I was instantly charmed. We really loved our vacation. The weather was perfect. The beach so beautiful. We just had a small problem with tinny ants in the condo, mostly in the kitchen. It has been taking care of but it never all disapeared.

  For the most part it was very nice. The only real complaint was that the twin mattress in the second bedroom needed to be replaced. Very unconfortable. Otherwise really enjoyed it.

  Overall we were satisfied. There were a few small things that disappointed us. The TV only had one cable for the sat. tv and dvd player. So we needed to turn the tv and swap the cable each time our daughter wanted to watch a movie. No remote for tv - so needed to use buttons on tv. Killed the biggest cockroach I have ever seen in the kitchen. There were small ants cruising everywhere in the kitchen - so needed to keep food in fridge or in plastic bags. Twin beds do not fit their frames - so there is metal sticking out on the sides that you do not see under the bedskirt - snagged my leg on it a few times - walking by.. and kept our daughter from playing in that room.

  Great location and very nice property. Paid $150 for cleaning but there was mildew in the master shower. The washing machine stops mid-cycle. Would suggest changing the door code as it has been the same for the past three years. Also suggest putting a security password on the Wi-Fi.

  Siesta Key Paradise

  This was our second vacation four years apart in this condo on Siesta Key. It is our favorite vacation place. The overall property is beautifully maintained with clean and manicured landscape, beach and pool areas. However on arrival this year the condo was not as immaculate as it was in our previous visit. One of the beds was only half made, several light bulbs were burned out (we purchased and replaced) and there was a musty smell upon entry each time. We realized after a couple days there was water seeping out from a plugged air conditioner unit. A call was placed to the property manager and it was promptly repaired and cleaned up. The quick response from the property manager was a big plus for us! Obviously those are small complaints as the unit is overall well appointed and the owner has thought of everything to make it feel like home even in the well-stocked kitchen. The location in the garden area of the complex may seem a little too isolated for some but for those who enjoy some quiet time and space it is perfect. The beach and pool area is a nice short stroll away.

  We had a great time at this condo right on the beach on Siesta Key. It was a comfortable home-away-from-home and allowed us the opportunity to play tennis, swim in the ocean, walk the fabulous beach everyday, enjoy the heated pool and jacuzzi, and watch the gorgeous sunsets. It was just what we needed to escape the early snow of upstate NY.

  This was our 2nd stay in SD 104 - and again, it was wonderful! On our previous stay we were concerned about the rear sliding doors - that was corrected by our 2nd stay. I would recommend changing the access code on the front door. It was the same for both our stays - that did concern us a little. Also - would love to know some restaurants that deliver - besides pizza. Also, would like for rental umbrellas to be available instead of just the cabanas. Not very many channels on the TV.

  Our unit could use some updates such as a new toaster and maybe some attention to some insects by front entrance. I think families would appreciate a beach umbrella and some sand toys. Many units seemed to have these amenities.

  We enjoyed our stay there very much..even with cooler than normal temperatures. The only suggestion I would make is to have the shower head in the Master bedroom changed. Very little water pressure and difficult to regulate tempeerature of water.

  The property was very clean plus had everything we need in the kitchen even a small washer and drier that was nice with the two gradnchildren. I wish that we would have gotten closer to the beach we are use to being right on the beach.

  Christina and Dennis were extremely helpful when we arrived in Sarasota. We had originally signed up to rent a condo at Jamica Royale. When we arrived, we felt it was not what we had envisioned.
