There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. The beach is perfect!! Gentle surf, gradual descent in to the warm water. The famous powdery white sand of siesta key. Great for kids. Very close to Sarasota and close enough to Tampa/St. Petersburg area. Why waste money staying in expensive hotel rooms when you can rent a 2 bedroom home cheaper ??
