Appartments Žana are situated in a lovely house in a small, picturesque and idyllic place Šilo on the island Krk, on quite and peaceful environment only 250m (3-5 minutes walking distance) from the sea and beach.We offer 3 fully equipped apartments : App.Oleander A3+1 for 3-4 persons, App. Mirta A3+1

for 3-4 persons and app.Lavanda A4 for 4 persons.Max. Cap: 12-13 Persons.

Our apartmenst have air-conditioning, TV with satellite programms, fully equipped kitchen and each apartment has its own beautiful and big terrace with amazing sea and garden view. Our house is surrounded by a garden full of different plants where... guests can also use grill. House has its own parking space, free of charge for all guests.Our place is ideal for family holiday but also for romantic and relaxing vacation or for sport active holiday. We offer the oaze of peace , tranquility and hospitality , far away from the city's bustle . A vacation at our island will give your strenght back and will rest your soul. We are looking forward to your visit, hoping that you will recognize our small place for your big vacation.

First bigger room has 2 beds( 1 double beds) .+ possibility for 1 additional bed (new couch, comfortable for sleeping ). The second small room has 1 single bed. Total the App has 3 beds + 1 additional bed (couch). Kitchen is fully equipped freez,refrigerator,cooker,microwaweoven, dishes, caffe-aparat, kettle-hot water aparat, ).App. has also bathroom with shower and nice and overoofed terrase with garden view.App is on the ground floor and has its own separate entrance .App has TV-SAT.

Island Krk is the largest and one of the most beautiful, most indented and most attractive islands in the Adriatic, also the closest Croatian island to Europe, connected to the mainland by a bridge is easy achievable. The island has a nice climate with a annual average temperature 4 degrees higher than elsewhere in the same geographical width. Šilo is the small and very picturesque place on the island of Krk, ideal for a quiet, romantic and relaxing holiday but but also offers possibilities for many activities, recreation, sport and entertainment. It lies in the immediate vicinity of Crikvenica and its Riviera, separated from it by the Canal of Vinodol and only appr. 20 kilometers away from the Krk-Bridge. One of Šilo's particular qualaties are its numerous and naturally protected pebble beaches (coves) and the specially well known sandybeach with its clear, pleasant sea, ideal for children.
Besides sandy beaches and the crystal clear sea, our region abounds in beautiful coves accessible by foot, car or boat. Besides sunbathing and swimming on the beach or in an isolated cove, the calm sea and mild wind in the evening and morning hours are ideal for sailing, rowing, boat rides and surfing. The peace and quiet in a natural environment offers a wonderful vacation atmosphere. A famous sandy beach suitable is located in Šilo and also in the small place Soline with exceptionally warm sea and healing mud, suitable for healing the gout and other rheumatic diseases.
In the immediate vicinity of Šilo is the shipwreck"Peltastis", making it one of the most interesting places for divers in the Croatian sea.
Šilo boasts a long fishing tradition and plays host to regular "sea fiestas". Also popular with tourists arevarious sport and entertainment events. Tennis courts, beach volleyball courts and various water sports (sailing, rowing, diving etc.) are also available.
There are also interesting things to see and do in the vicinity: visit picturesque place Dobrinj with its old churches , ethnographic collection and Infeld Galery, visit many small places like village „Polje“ which is atractive to visitors with its traditional way of life.
You could also visit cave „Biserujka“ in the village Rudine. Biserujka Cave is located on the island of Krk 300 meters north-west of the Rudine village, (aprox 10 km from place Šilo ) The cave is adjusted to tourists and offers a wealth of cave decorations - calcareous sinters, stalagmites, and stalactites. Biserujka Cave is also known as Viteziceva Cave. The lowest point of the cave was measured at -13 meters, and the bottom of the cave is only 30 meters above the sea level.

During off season especially during the months of April, May, Septembar and Octobar there are many activities , festivals and events each year , where you can also get to know the local life on the island of Krk.
The island of Krk loves bikers! For that reason it is intersected with well-kept and marked trails through the interior and along the coast, which are also hiking trails.The paths are of varyied difficulty, so everyone can find something for himself, amateurs, professionals and lovers of mountain biking. Also, many events for cyclists are held on the island, such as "Spring on wheels" or "I love fall - Bodul bike".Hiking paths on the island are around 300 km long, while those near Šilo almost 60km, and all are plotted on a map of hiking trails of the island of Krk and the detailed map of the environs of Dobrinj. The paths lead you through olive groves, hundred year old woods, along the seaside and the rocky landscapes which seem to resemble to the moon's surface, During your walks you can visit various attractions such as caves Biserujka, healing mud pools in the bay of Soline, Baška Glagolitic path, remains of the Frankopan castle Gradec, the remains of the ancient Roman city Fulfinium, church of Saint Donatus from IX. century ...
