Come to Silver Star, one of Canada's favourite ski/board destinations. We are known for our fantastic powder conditions starting mid-November and continuing until mid-April. Stay at our spacious luxurious 4 bedroom chalet where you will enjoy the perfect holiday. The view is spectacular! We are conveniently located on the Knoll adjacent to the skating pond. Only a two minute walk to the village or ski in/out to the Silver Queen Chair. There is parking for 2 vehicles adjacent to the suite. Enjoy the large private outdoor hot tub and all the up to date amenities.

Our group of 4 couples, some with and some without children, have stayed in the Falconwood Chalet several times in the past and will continue to stay there on future trips. We have stayed in other chalets at Silver Star, but return to the Falconwood as our preferred accommodation there. Booking a stay, checking in and checking out are easy and efficient. An early check-in or late check-out can be arranged, depending upon other guests arrival and departure. There is a welcome basket with a bottle of wine and some snacks waiting to greet you. Mary will call during the stay to make sure everything is to your satisfaction, and can be easily reached if there are any questions or problems that arise during your stay. The chalet is in a perfect location for our group. It is a short walk to the village, and is very close to the skating pond and tubing area, as well as the Silver Queen chairlift and one of the cross-country skiing trail heads. It is a very quiet and beautiful location. The chalet is well designed and planned out. The decor and furnishings are inviting and cheery. The chalet is very cosy and comfortable, with all the conveniences of home as well as many thoughtful extras. The open floor plan of the kitchen, eating area and living/family room facilitate socializing. There is a separate TV room off of the main room that allows those that want to watch TV or a movie to do so without interfering with those that prefer to chat. The bedroom set up works well for singles, as well as couples with or without children. Two of the bedrooms have bunk beds and these are solidly built with comfortable mattresses. The bathrooms are very clean with lots of towels. There are "flip-flops" and another set of towels provided for those using the hot tub. There is ample ski storage area, and for nordic skiers there is a work bench that can be used for waxing skis. We would highly recommend the Falconwood Chalet!

Falconwood chalet offers the best of the best. Accommodation is fantastic, kitchen very well equiped outside hot tub a welcome - after a day of skiing. It is in a great location - ski in and ski out and only a short walk to the the shops and restaurants.
