San FranciscoLoved this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pine Valley B&B.; The setting is absolutely gorgeous -so serence and peaceful - like something out of a postcard!
The location is perfect in that it's a quick drive to both auckland and the Matakana wine country.
The B&B; is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork and furnture.
Kazuyo is a fabulous cook and blew us away with a scrumptious breakfast. So good!
Kazuyo, Dan and their lovely daughter Hanna, are the consummate hosts - committed to making our stay as comfortable as possible.
We highly recommend the Pine Valley B &B;. -

North Shore CityExcellent place to relax for the weekend
Left on 08/18/2011 for a stay in July 2011
I went here for a weekend vacation with a friend of mine, the first thing i noticed was how great the natural scenery was with a great sense of calmness with only the sounds of birds in the air.
It was definitely a good place to relax at and get away from being in central city all the time.
As for the cottage itself, it's quite spacious and feels like being at home.
We opted to have breakfast the next day and so the owner (Kazuyo) was very kind and asked us what we wanted to have.
We asked for an egg sandwich to which she happily agreed on cooking for us.
She said the eggs are free range since theyre picked right on the spot so if youre the environment conscious type, this could be a bonus.
In the end it was a very pleasant experience, getting away from the hectic city lifestyle to wind down a bit for the weekend.
I would like to recommend it to anyone who would like to experience Nz's beautiful scenery and just relax. -
Loved My Stay at PineValley
San franciscoStunning Property-You Will Not Be Disappointed
Left on 08/16/2011 for a stay in July 2011
I stayed here in July and had a great week. I stayed in the cottage which has so much character with agreat, large contemporary style kitchen which has everything you could possibly need to cook a great meal. The livingroom is also great and nicely decorated. The bed is very comfortable and the bedroom nicely furnished. The setting of the cottage is amongs beautiful native bush and farmland. The property also has a bush walk. The owners are very nice, helpful but not intrusive. The gardens are beautiful and this is a must to visit next time you are in the auckland area. You will not be disappointed. i loved my stay.

JapanFantastic! Hidden Gem!

It is a beautiful place.
The cottage we stayed was spacious, stylish and comfortable, surrounded by wide green garden.
Very private and quiet in a total country setting yet with convenience like fast internet access which we didn't expect.
The breakfast was out of the world.
The owners have an impressive organic garden and many of the vegees and fruit were home grown and we loved their fresh eggs as well.
But my favorite was their walking trail in the forest and the beautiful bedding sheets.
We will definitely come back.
