This unit is nothing luxurious - don't expect granite countertops. But the unit makes good use of space, it was sparkling clean, and the kitchen is quite well stocked with everything you need to cook. The showers have hot water and plenty of pressure. Beds are comfortable (especially after adding the supplied down comforter as a pillowtop for the pullout sofa). Hot tubs (across the parking lot) are nice, but indoors. The unit is located 3 miles up a road that is lined with other homes/condos. Oh - this could be a factor for some: we had to climb 3 sets of stairs to reach our unit.
We loved our experience with a1 Vacation Rentals. James returned a call before our visit, but even more impressively, he returned our call on a Saturday night upon our arrival (we couldn't find the firewood). There are not normal office hours on Saturday night, but James returned our call anyway. Finally, the mobile app for a1 Vacation Rental puts everything you need to know on your phone: check in and check out instructions, directions to office, directions to the unit, phone numbers, etc. Awesome app!

The unit we stayed at with a1 Vacation Rentals was exactly what we were looking for, plus well furnished, clean and convenient to our plans in Summit County. A1 Rentals always seem to do exactly what they promise and provide great value.

Good views, nice layout, good price, good location (not far from 6-7 ski resorts)
Not much sound insulation between the units, and there was a random buzzing noise coming from one of the neighbors pretty often. The heater still makes a popping noise in the wall between the bedrooms when it kicks on; pretty annoying at 3am. The water temperature when taking a shower has a bad tendency to go from hot to scalding in an instant for 1 second, with no warning.
Most of our issues are not with the unit, but the building. I still think the place was a good deal for my group of 4. We were doing this trip on a budget and didn't need anything fancy.

Three of us were staying in the 205-F Buffalo Ridge for a week. Cozy living, nice service when you call it, GREAT mountain veiw, just one little but annoying thing: snapping sound from the heater (heat shrinkage?). It was OK in day time 'cause we were out anyway, but at nights it was... REALLY annoying.

Well working with James at A-1 properties was very easy, he is very curtious and helpful. We played phone tag since we are both busy, but he was quite accomodating. The 2 bedroom condo was very clean and Loved the wood burning fireplace and HighSpeed Internet. Only downside I would say is the Laundry room was not in our condo but downstairs. Kithchen was big and had anything you needed utility wise for cooking.
I would definitely choose this Buffalo Ridge as a place to stay on my next ski trip.
