Our lovingly maintained second home is the perfect place for your mountain vacation or quick Colorado getaway.

Sitting at the top of Wildernest, bordering National Forest and paths through wetlands and beaver ponds, is Buffalo Ridge. When you enter our 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome-style end unit you will feel as though you've stepped into your own mountain lodge. The condo has exposed wooden-beams and a stunning wood burning fireplace to warm you while enjoying the wonderful wetlands and mountain views from our first floor deck. The Buffalo Ridge complex has 4 clubhouses, 3 pools, 5 hot tubs, a tennis court, a racquetball court and a sa...una. Hiking trails nearby abound, too, making this a great vacation home.

Wildernest Residential area is just minutes from I-70. A 10-20 minute drive puts you at four Summit County ski areas (Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain and Arapahoe Basin). Vail, Beaver Creek and Loveland are only 10-15 minutes farther. Summit County runs a FREE shuttle bus that picks up at the end of our parking lot and delivers you to skiing, shopping or nightlife.

At just under 1,400 s.f., our condo has plenty of space for your group to enjoy each other's company. The master bedroom has a queen bed and private bathroom. On the same floor you'll find a full bath and the loft bedroom with queen bed and twin-over-double bunk beds. The third floor boasts a private retreat with queen bed and ample closet space. Our spacious living room has a sleeper sofa, a game table, and comfortable loveseats and stuffed chairs for you to enjoy the television, DVD player and iPod docking station with speakers. Buffalo Ridge is the perfect place to own a vacation home. It is located at the top of Wildernest. From there we can enjoy sweeping views of mountain vistas and wildlife-filled wetlands right outside our door. A short 5 minute drive puts us at the base of Wildernest where we can enjoy world-class shopping, movie theater, live music, dining - and, of course, skiing!

You can't beat Summit County for outdoor activities. Hiking, biking, boating, skiing, snowboarding, horse-drawn sleigh rides. We love the Ice Sculpture Festival at Breckenridge in the Winter. Every summer we take in live world-class music at the Bravo! Music Festival at Vail's amazing outdoor amphitheater. There is no better place to spend the winter holidays than skiing in the back bowls of Vail and no better place to spend the Fourth of July than watching fireworks over the Dillon Reservoir. And, of course, your kids will love the swimming pools, hot tubs and game room at Buffalo Ridge.

  We spent an extended weekend at this property and could not have asked for a better location or property.
  Making the arrangements with the owner/manager was all over the Internet and was conveinent and easy. She answered all my questions, sent the agreement as agreed to and responded on a timely basis.
  Getting to the property was easy based on the directions provided and accessing the property was just as easy and what a great property! With three levels, we were able to put the small children to bed and still use the main living area without disturbing them.
  In addition to my wife and I, we had three teenage girls, my son and his family of four including two boys age 5 and 7. To have nine people and not feel crowded was more than we expected to accomplish.
  Based on the set up, we were able to have seating for everyone for meals and with the kitchen items provided, had plenty of table service for everyone.
  We cooked several meals at the condo and found plenty of pots and pans to handle our needs. The kids had plenty of games and tv channels to keep them occupied as well.
  The location allowed us to choose from several of the ski complexes and was a central location to shopping and restaurants as well. While we didn't use them, there are several entertainment facilities in the complex if we had wanted to use them.
  While we were there, over a foot of snow hit the area. The parking lot and side walks were all cleared and ready for use by the time we got up and were ready to leave each morning.
  Overall, we could not have been happier with our stay. The property was clean, well maintained, had everything that we needed to not encumber our stay, plenty of seating, and a wonderful balcony view of the snow as it kept falling and falling and falling.
  My only suggestion is not about the property by about traveling to the mountains in winter. Rent a four wheel drive vehicle! It's worth the investment.
