From front to back we were very pleased with this visit. We were immediately greeted with a genuinely friendly staff member at their check-in counter who gave us a multitude of suggestions for entertaining ourselves in the area.
Much about this trip was to enjoy the tapering snow-fall from within our condo, so it mattered that we'd have a good view and a comfy place with little noise.
We stayed late to end of ski season so the crowd had thinned out. I'm often skeptical of the views depicted on rental websites (figuring the best unit is where they take pictures from and you end up with a ****** one). This is NOT the case with Wildernest. View was spot-on great, condo in great condition and very comfortable. Im always grateful for the large supplies of firewood when they're available-- which kept us burning a nice fire most of the time.
They have what seems like plenty to accommodate skiers if they're coming. You'd really be in great location to hop & skip wherever you want for your ski weekend at a cheaper price than being in a resort town.
Give these folks a shot if you're thinking of trying Silverthorn. -

The condo had beautiful views. The club house was nice and close. The condo just needed to be updated. Take down all the peeling wallpaper, update appliances in kitchen, year out carpet in bathrooms and kitchen, new furniture in living area.

Our entire team stayed in the cabin, and everyone loved it. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms it was perfect for everyone plus the balcony looking over the valley was awesome. Would definitely do it again.
