Left on 04/02/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Our family of 4 stayed for 5 nights at this beautiful condo and had a wonderful time. We loved the private hot tub and loved the fact that our view out the back was the lovely pond instead of other condos, like most other places we've stayed. The boys were hoping to ice skate and play some pond hockey, but it was too late in the season and it was closed. But our second to last day we got the snowshoes out and walked around the pond, which was really fun.
The kitchen was nicely stocked with pots/pans/storage containers and I cooked most days, so that came in handy. The couches in the living room were comfy, although the chair is a little too far away to be able to see the TV very well, but it was fine for us because we all fit on the couch and love seat. That just has to do with the fireplace and where the TV needs to be situated.
The management office was very nice and responsive, and when we asked to have the hot tub cleaned because it was murky and starting to smell, they took care of it that day.
We also took advantage of the big tub in the master bathroom to breathe in some eucalyptus salts to help with the colds a few of us contracted.
My only complaints, and they are minor are:
The master bedroom has the Queen bed, not the King? We found that strange, and my 6' tall husband has become very accustomed to sleeping in our king bed at home, so that made for a bit of a cramped sleeping arrangement. There's no DVD player in there, so we were hoping to hook our iPad up to the TV to be able to watch movies in bed. But the TV is so old we would have had to buy a special adapter, so we made due with propping the iPad up on pillows to watch movies that way.
And at least our bed and the pillows were not very comfortable. I know it's a rental, and that often comes with the territory, but we were all excited to get back to our comfy beds at home.
But overall we had a fabulous time and will definitely look at renting in this complex again.
