Seagetaway is an exclusive two bed roomed self catering cottage situated a few km outside the quaint naval town of Simon’s Town and is less than five minutes walk from the stunning local beaches. Waken to the sound of whales and watch them from the comfort of your bed (July to October).
Watch the sun rise above the mountains and over the sea - Take a five minute early morning walk to Fisherman's beach, watch the waves catch the early morning sun and enjoy the beauty of nature around you.
Accommodation:
Seagetaway self catering cottage accommodates a maximum of 5 guests and is ideally suited for families or business travel...lers. The cottage has a comfortable living area with spectacular views of the sea. The living area opens up to the outside area with built in barbecue so you can enjoy a barbeque (braai) as you look across the bay. Seagetaway self catering cottage has a private sheltered garden where you can tan in private. Seagetaway has a single garage with automatic door. There is parking for two more cars in the driveway.
The main bedroom with a magnificent view of the sea has a queen size bed and built in cupboards. The second bedroom with a magnificent view of the sea has two single beds and built in cupboards. There is a single bed available in the living area. The tiled bathroom (en-suite to main bedroom) has a deep bath and separate shower. There is also a separate guests toilet.
The modern kitchen opens onto the living area and has a granite breakfast counter with four comfortable bar stools. The fully equipped kitchen has a microwave, built in oven & hob, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses. Linen is provided and bath towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels

My wife and I stayed in the one-bedroom no-frills apartment.The best features were the peace and quiet and the view across False Bay to the Hottentot Hollands mountains which are lit up by the sunset. Like most places in the Simon's Town area, it's up a steep hill and not really in walking distance from anywhere. The nearest beach, Fisherman's bay, is one of the most pleasant in the area, and there's a nice walk northwards from it towards Simon's Town.
Simon's Town has few useful shops, so you have to go to the supermarket at Glencairn on the other side of town.
Avoid Boulders Beach, a tourist trap, and a disappointment to one who knew it in the pre-penguin days. You even have to pay to visit.

The perfect base from which to explore all the Peninsula has to offer. Very comfortable and well maintained. And the views are quite spectacular! It is our acoomodation of choice when in the Mother City.
One of the most memorable week-ends I have ever had. Beautitul cottage with absolutely stunning views. Everything you need is on hand. Beautiful layout inside and out. Very comfortable and well maintained. Perfect for a romantic week-end with your significant other, or for the family just to take a break from daily life. I was most impressed, and look forward to another visit in the not too distant future.
