Located at the entrance of Cumpatu residential area of Sinaia opposite the Peles Royal Castle domain, Vila Poem Boem was built in a genuine Romanian style in 1927. It was built by one of the most talented and prolific Romanian architects, T. Socolescu, as a wedding present for his lovely wife. Inspired and built in the name of love the house kept the spirit of love to be shared with its guests throughout time. It has now been lovingly renovated in a period style and is ready to house new friends.

Sinaia is a lovely mountain resort hosting the Peles Castle - the former summer residence of the Royal family of Romania, offering plenty of opportunities throughout the year: skiing or sledging during winter season choosing from the local ski tracks to any of the proximity resorts of Busteni, Azuga, Predeal and Poiana Brasov, hiking, mountain biking or simply fresh air breathing throughout the rest of the seasons possibly accompanied by singing birds or squirrels.
Peles Castle, The Orthodox Monks Monastery and George Enescu - the greatest Romanian composer memorial house, are unique attractions which are at walking distance and open for visiting.
Less that one hour drive through the enchanting Carpathian mountains will take you to the border of Transylvania at Dracula Castle in Bran, or to the medieval fortress of Rasnov, or to the beautiful city of Brasov with its unique medieval buildings and the Black Church.

We have been in holiday for three days, it was a wonderful experience. When we first entered in the property we couldn't believe it: It was perfect! Nice owner, nice villa, nice garden, nice view of the surrounding mountain.
I strongly recommend this place if you want a real romantic atmosphere. The house keeps the authenticity of the architecture together with its modern functionality. We had everything we needed. We felt at home.
The hospitality and tranquility we experienced at Villa Poem Boem left us refreshed, relaxed and terribly sad to leave. I would recommend it to everyone. -

Sharing the same location with Peles Castle might not be a pure coincidence for this villa:-) The atmosphere and attention to all details moves you into those times when refinement was a pure art. I visited the villa several time, each time found the same welcoming environment, still discovered details that I did not notice previously and have been impressed by the calmness and good energy that the place has!
Besides the different design bedrooms, the living with the excelent fire place, the sauna downstairs, all seem to be arranged for your comfort. During the summer, the natural spring in the back of the yard and the coffe place outside, mix very well to ensure a relaxing time, to either read a book, stay with friends or, most important, catch up with yourself:-)
I would definitely recommend this place, at least for a short stay if not to spend weeks!

Excellent! The villa interior and exterior is an example of good taste and attention for the detail. It's even better than you can see in those pictures :) Excellence is not only in design but also in comfort: super-comfy bedding, quality bed linen and towels, 5 star equipped bathrooms, a small kitchen but having everything you might need in perfect condition. The garden is very nice too and has a secret place upstairs where you can stay in the evening with a glass of wine and simply watch the stars...
Location is not far from the center - but in a very quiet & residential area, away from the the other tourists hustling & bustling. Maid-service on request was excellent, also the massage service that was recommended (oh, the villa is equipped also with a massage bed, and also a very modern sauna - we have to come back for the ski period!!)
We've rented lots of properties in Europe, and this one is among the best of them!
The owners are really very kind and helpful and also great persons indeed! They provided lots of information about what to do in the area, the cultural events, the best places to eat and so on... Thank you so much!!
Sinaia is the most romantic & cultural place in Romanian mountains, with great walks and also great nature + ski domain. It's only 1 hour drive to Dracula Castle in Bran and near lots of ski areas. We, our kids and parents, simply felt great here! Izabela Coman
