PortlandFantastic week in Sisters!
Left on 10/24/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Wow! This condo was conveniently located, nicely appointed and very comfortable. We loved the easy walk into town and the use of the bikes. The neighborhood was quiet and the views of the Sisters absolutely stunning. Made us want to buy a place and settle in!

We've stayed at this location numerous times due to it's layout, location, size, type of decor, and setting. It's always clean, the 2 rooms are large with a large walk-in closet for the main bedroom. Large windows to the east let in the morning light and sun. The west facing patio allows for great sunsets relaxing on the patio with a glass of wine overlooking the Sisters, Mt Washington, and other peaks. The swimming pool just below and continous running outdoor fountain complete with killdeer and deer. The appliances could be newer but all in very good condition. The TV/audio is a little confusing to operate at first but we figured it out. It's close to downtown so an enjoyable walk to Sister's Coffee or Bakery in the morning, and restaurants in the evening. We enjoyed using the bicycles in the garage to ride around the very new residences and manicured lawns with little traffic. The kitchen and front/living/dining room are an open layout which we like, with black tiles in the kitchen which are not heated however. The laundry room is very adequate in a separate room. The place has lots of little extras like beach towels, all the things you need to make complete dinners, you don't need to bring anything but food. Although it's quite busy in the summers we had plenty of privacy and surprisingly quiet. The condo is nicely decorated throughout, glass topped table, nice wooden furniture in the spare bedroom, and paintings. There is shower stall in the second bathroom, though a little small, but double sinks in the large bathroom with combo tub/shower with vinyl floors. I would like to see a newer more modern plasma TV, and entertainment system, but if you're out and about like we were it's not a big issue.

Left on 12/26/2011 for a stay in December 2011
The condo was perfect size, comfortable and right in the middle of town to enjoy every bit of the town. This is our second time staying in the condo and may be back again, but we may look for a house next year. This is our annual trip and sisters is our favorite place. We love the coziness of the condo and the location. Thanks for having us!

Left on 10/07/2011 for a stay in September 2011
The service was exellent, as always. We liked the home very much. It had a nice kitchen so we were able to easily cook our meals. The location to shopping is good. It's a short walk to downtown. We didn't use the pool. We really enjoyed the view from the condo. The parking is a little far from the condo and the garage is too narrow to get in and out of the car easily when parked inside. It was a good trip and we enjoyed our stay.

Roseburg, ORFantastic location, wonderful accommodations!
Left on 08/22/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We feel very fortunate to have made the decision to stay at Big Mountain condo during our recent (and first!) visit to Sisters. This was "base camp" from which we daily headed out to explore several hiking trails, my husband often fishing along the way.
We found the condo spic-and-span, with sufficient space for my husband and me, and our two daughters. The balcony and view are wonderful - and the condo's location allows use of a gorgeous pool, hot-tub and tennis court, as well as a beautiful neighborhood through which to stroll in the cool mountain air. It is also located within an easy walk to Sisters Coffee (fantastic place!!) and the charming town's other interesting shops (including one sweet quilt/fabric shop!!) and restaurants.
I would be amiss not to leave a note that the day-long round-trip hike to Park Meadow was by far our favorite! Though in the midst of mosquito season in late July, when we were there, we donned mosquito netting over our hats, and so with long sleeves and bug spray, found the meadow quite manageable. And it was absolutely gorgeous - the quinessential Alpine meadow, complete with gurgling, meandering stream, snow-capped mountains in the distance, and myriad of wild flowers.
If you, dear Reader, are contemplating a stay in Sisters - for rest and relaxation, or for hiking and exploration - this condo will well fill your purposes. And, for people seeking either category -- the condo's fireplace lends warmth and a wonderful ambience on those chilly mountain evenings!
God bless you! Have a wonderful vacation!! -

Left on 08/22/2011 for a stay in July 2011
We arrived at the condo in the midafternoon. It was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space for the two of us and our teenage son. The view of the mountains was incredible. A very nice condo with all the amenities. It was close enough to downtown Sisters without being on the main road. We would stay there again on our next trip to Sisters.

Can we say more? This condo was the untimate in relaxation with tremendous views! We were able to completely relax and enjoy the pool and other facilities. Walking to town for shopping and coffee was a special treat and we felt part of the Sisters Experience. The garage was an additional benefit. The mattresses were extremely comfortable and the linens fine! We will return to the Big Mtn View Condo.

We so enjoyed our month at big Mt. we booked another for 2011! We have also suggested others visit. Big Mt Condo had everything plus ! We were amazed at the qualitity of appliances/linens/supplys and many extras. It was truly "turn key". Next year we will bring only our tooth brush & some extra hangers for our long visit . Oh and a throw rug for under the dining room table. That wool carpet is far too nice for under a dining table!!!

San Leandro, CAA perfect vacation rental in Sisters
Left on 12/04/2010 for a stay in September 2010
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the Great Mountain View condo. The condo was very spacious, spotlessly clean and supplied with everything we needed. The location was great! We especially enjoyed being able to walk to everything in Sisters. Unfortunately we didn't have time to go for a dip in the pool which looked very clean and inviting. We would highly recommend this condo to anybody visiting Sisters. I also found it very pleasant to deal with Julie at Sisters' Vacation Rentals.

Woodland, WANice but hard to sleep in
Left on 12/03/2010 for a stay in September 2010
The Condo was beautiful and had lots of nice features. Unfortunately that was overshadowed by the simple fact the blinds in both bedrooms didn't work. Had to turn by hand each blind to get some privacy and even that didn't block the light in the morning making it hard to sleep in. Working blinds should be a must in any rental or hotel.

Dear carmanmurrays@gmail.com,
Here at Sisters Vacation Rentals we always want to know when something detracts from the comfort of our guests. So we do appreciate your reference to the problem with the bedroom blinds in the Mountain View Condo.
The situation has been remedied, and thank you for bringing it to our attention.
We sincerely hope that your stay was otherwise very pleasant.

Left on 11/17/2009 for a stay in September 2009
Place was great. Close to downtown with a out of town feel. The only complaint which is a MINOR thing was after using stove top we could not find a stove top cleaner. I have one one at home and I try to clean real good after cooking something that splatter's. We will stay again and will recommend to our friends.

We enjoyed walking to the coffee shop in the morning in town (just a few blocks away), swimming in the pool, and gazing at the mountains from our deck. The bed was comfortable and the tap water tasted great. The two bedrooms and baths met our needs perfectly. We had a really good stay.
