Corvallis, OregonBeautiful house and view

We stayed at Whispering Canyon for six days during the holidays, and it was great! Very clean and airy home, and we had everything we needed. Perfect for a couple or a family with one child. The second bedroom is very small, so might not be as comfortable for two couples (it has a full bed with about a foot on either side of it). Our two year old had a great encounter with three deer in the driveway! We would definitely come back here.

My wife and I were figuring out where to spend our honeymoon. We found this whispering canyon rental and snagged it. It was roommie, had a nice bedroom, the kitchen was clean and well equipped for many different kinds of meals. Also the BBQ was very nice (we made some good steaks). The only downside was that it was about 20 mins drive outta town to sisters, but 45 mins from Bend which is where we did most of our outdoor excursions. That is only reason why I gave this 4 stars, however, if your looking for a place to stay in for a few days, then 5 stars! it was blessing to stay at Whispering Canyon. Thanks

Great retreat-- enjoyed the quiet, the air, and the view. Just sat back and read, napped, and went for an occasional walk. Looking forward to doing it all over again.

First off all, the property management team was excellent to work with. They cared and made sure to make themselves available if any problems occured. The property is fully equipped, including laundry and a 2 car garage. The home is cozy, beautiful and very well taken care off. The scenery during winter is spectacular, with the canyon views and on rare sunny/clear days full views of broken top and all three sisters.
Looking forward to return for another wonderful and relaxing time. -

We had a wonderful time at this vacation home. The location was very quiet and relaxing, the views were fantastic, and we saw deer everyday--often in the front yard. The home was warm and confortable, and the garage was able to fit our large vehicle. Thanks for opening your home to our family. We will definitely be back!

We loved this house. My husband and I went to Sisters for a last-minute vacation with our 6-month old, and the house was perfect. It overlooked a quiet canyon, and there were spectacular views of the mountains from the deck. The house was not huge (one large bedroom with closet and one very small bedroom with no closet) but was bright, airy, and comfortable. Everything was clean and well-stocked. The great-room is lovely with fabulous windows overlooking the canyon. Will stay there again if we return to Sisters.

Whispering Canyon is aptly named. The expansive wilderness area behind the home gives a sense of solitude that we normally only experience when backpacking...in spite of the fact that there are other homes nearby. The views of the mountains are spectacular from the well appointed deck. The house is well appointed, beds comfy and we really enjoyed the great little CD library-- Keb Mo was the perfect musical soundtrack to our trip. Thank you so much!

The house was comfortable, clean, and quiet. There were a few minor problems: tub did not drain properly, could not get enough volume to watch Dvds, and sliding glass window screen was broken. Books were great. Kitchen well equipped. Perhaps add a couple microwavable containers.
Thank you so much, We really appreciate staying at such a wonderful place. It is in our top five places we have ever stayed in. Cathy and Brian McCavitt -

CorvallisQuiet, clean, comfortable spot!
Left on 04/12/2011 for a stay in March 2011
We've stayed two years in a row for a long weekend, and found it a comfortable, cozy house. The kitchen equipment is a little skimpy, so if you plan to cook gourmet meals, bring your own 'tools.' Other than that it's a great spot! Lovely views, quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds -- a great place to relax.

Hi Heather, thank you for your nice review. We would like to add some tools to the kitchen that would make cooking a meal easier and more pleasurable. Do you have some suggestions of what we might add that you would appreciate?
Thank you!

I came here with my boyfriend and another couple and we all couldn't have loved it more! The house was fantastic, very clean, and had great amenities. We are actually going to try and come back next year and make it an annual trip! We strongly recommend this home, just not during Memorial Weekend when we want it! :)

Eugene, ORA quiet and relaxing getaway.
Left on 11/24/2009 for a stay in August 2009
The home is lovely, clean, comfortable, light and airy. The location is convenient just a few minutes outside of Sisters, yet feels "away from it all" overlooking Whychus Creek canyon, with views of the Sisters. If you want peace and quiet and nature, this is the place for you. The fact that we could bring our dog was a major factor. The service from the rental agency was friendly and efficient. We loved the location, the home and the dog-friendliness. Our only criticism was that the kitchen could have been better equipped with pots, pans, etc.

The place was perfect: beautiful setting; private, yet not too far from town and activities; comfortable and in great shape; the kitchen extremely well equipped; and the deck a delight. Our only criticisms are minor: it could use a better reading light in the bigger bedroom and a towel rack that tended to fall down.
