Get lost and find yourself. Escape to this amazing tranquil 40 acre retreat near Sisters and Redmond Oregon. Warm yourself in this passive solar paradise home with radiant floor heat.
Passive solar with windows on the south side of the house let the sunshine in and warm your bones, even when it's cold outside. Fun eclectic contemporary/western decor throughout. 2 bedroom, 2 bath main house will sleep 5. The upstairs bedroom is open to the downstairs, would technically be considered a loft, but is a nice large inviting space. Letting you know that it is not as private as a regular bedroom.

The House was very nice. Very clean and nicely decorated with comtemporary furnishings that were all in good condition. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and and the appliances were new and in good condition.
The location was beautiful, quiet for the most part, and not as far as it seems the first time you drive out.
We shared the house with another couple and found the house was noisey in that you can hear the water run and the toilets flush throughout the house when either one of the bathrooms were used. The TV is also on the master bedroom wall so this was a bit of a problem at night.
Minor problem really.
Had a great time and would rent the house again. Rental agent easy to work with and very helpful. -

Great escape with limited cell access (that's a big plus btw!).
Inviting, open space with nice furnishings.
Large outside deck with grill.
Private, private, private...
I really appreciated the property being dog-friendly.
The only issue was the master bed was rather soft and more than two nights would have been really rough. But that's only a problem if you need a firm mattress. -

We enjoyed this home for 6 nights in the winter of 2012. The home very conveniently accommodated 4 adults and a child. We stayed warm and cozy while enjoying expansive views, and also took long strolls around the property . This place is great, and the booking and access were very convenient. Thanks for opening the home as a vacation rental!
