A very Last minute holiday and were delighted to find this charming modern cottage. Welcome was very nice and lovely tea and biscuits upon arrival. It was very clean and luxurious situated in a nice quiet area on the edge of the Lakes. Enjoyed many Bbqs and a glasses of wine playing games with the family whilst taking in the spectacular views across the countryside from both the terrace at the back and the balcony at the front. Everything was excellent, Lake district was beautiful and having this beautiful cottage was the icing on the cake!!! Look forward to booking this again for other breaks in the Lakes we hope and would definatly reccomend it to others!!!

The cottage was spacious and well equipped, lovely views form the upstairs lounge, clean and well presented. I would definately recommend strawberry cottage. It is very close to Kendal and near at least 3 large supermarkets.

we booked strawberry cottage for our honermoon from 2/11/11-6/11/11 we had a peacefull and relaxed honeymoon as we wanted, the cottage is in a nice and quiet area, very clean and tidy. we also had a warm welcome and some milk from the owner who lives next door. hope to go back in summer.
