This privately owned retreat in the hillside of Skiathos is close to Skiathos City. Under the Greek sun, surrounded by pine and olive trees, this place offers picturesque views of the ocean, the neighboring islands of Skopelos and Tsougria and the mountains of Evia all the way to the Greek mainland. The quiet and secluded Mediterranean atmosphere enhances your vacation while you relax in the garden among palm, oleander, lemon and fig trees.

For me Villa Elena is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is totally enjoyable and the fantastic view you have is undescribable. The first day of our arriving we were already sad that we would leave this beautiful place in 10 days.
We also enjoyed the hosbitality of andrea and Kai.
Even though Villa Elena is 10 minutes by car / scooter to the sea, we have never regreted the decission staying there. We just booked a scooter (10 € each day) and could drive to all the amazing beaches in less than 30 minutes (the closest was 5 - 10 minutes). Besides Villa Elena I also think Skiathos is my favourite island because of the nice countryside, nature and the beautiful beaches.
So i really can recommend this place to all of you and I am sure to come back soon, too.

If you are looking to get away from the loud college crowd and the motorcycles, this is the place to be! The villa is located in the mountains of Skiathos overlooking the port, and the southern coastline. My husband and I enjoyed lounging by the pool, reading in the hammock overlooking the aegean sea and cooking in the communal outdoor kitchen. Our room was one of the smaller ones and it was simple, clean and very comfortable. The floors in our room were cool-to-the-touch marble, and had new furnishings, a newly renovated bathroom and a TV. The TV was equipped with satellite, but only played a few english channels. But who cares! We weren't there to watch tv! There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but it is preferable to have a car. We chose not to have a car and spent our evenings walking up the hill to the villa from the town (not recommended if you are not athletic). Kai and andrea are incredibly hospitable. Andrea made amazing croissants in the morning and Kai offered us lifts to the beach or the town. All in all, we had a most amazing experience at Villa Elena and we would recommend it to anyone interested in the quieter side of Skiathos.

Entering villa Elena on the island of Skiathos was like realizing a dream. My family and me we found that little corner in the world that everybody is desperately seeking for. A little hideaway, a place to relax, surrounded by the
warm welcome of its owners Kai and andrea. Our kids Fabienne and Sarah loved this couple from the first moment we met.We had so much fun together during our 3 weeks on the Island. Villa Elena is located up the hill with a spectacular view over the Islands of Skopelos and Tsougria and the visitor will never forget the smell of the herbs and flowers while walking around in the beautiful garden or at least the fresh fish barbecue.We also got fresh baked croissants in the morning , life was so easy and without any stress. We will never forget this destination and would recommend this fantastic place to all our friends because it comes very close to paradise. -

Wunderschöne u. gepflegte appartmentanlage hoch über dem Meer mit herrlichem Blick über die vorgelagerten Inseln und Skiathos Stadt. An der Poolbar kann man landestypische Getränke geniessen bzw. in der Grillecke mit Lounge kann man unvergessliche romantische abende und Stunden verbringen. In Kai und andrea findet man freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber, die einem jeden Wunsch von den augen ablesen. Die Zimmer werden mehrmals wöchentlich gereinigt und die Betten frisch bezogen. In den Beiden findet man nicht nur "Gastgeber" sondern auch "Freunde" zu denen man immer wieder gerne kommt!...Und wir kommen bestimmt wieder!!! Michi und Manni

I stayed here for 1 week and will come again.
The villa itself, situated in the mountains of Skiathos, offers an amazing view over the agean sea, the city of Skiathos, other islands and the beautiful clear skies at night.
You can relax at the pool side for hours, only enjoying the silence and the stunning view.
Only a 10-15 minutes drive away is the city and numerous beautiful beaches with perfect sand and cristal clear water!
This island has so much to offer, nice restaurants and cool bars at the harbour just to name a few things. You can do all different kinds of sports.
The Villa Elena offers a cozy barbecue corner, a pool bar and perfectly euquipped apartments.
This is the place to be when looking for a wonderful vacation on Skiathos! -

Sehr gemütliche Zimmer mit einer Terrasse, die einen unglaublichen Blick auf die Stadt und das Meer bietet. Großes Swimmingpool und Liegen unter Feigenbäumen. Tolle gemütliche Grillstation, die zum "zu Hause" kochen einlädt. Die Besitzer, Kai und andrea,stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und halten die anlage sauber. Die Zimmer werden mehrmals in der Woche geputzt. Als besonderes Service werden auch frische, warme Brötchen zum Frühstück angeboten. Ein Ort so richtig zum ausspannen. Wir waren bereits das vierte Mal da und werden sicher wieder kommen.

We stayed at Villa Elena and would not hesitate to do so again.We are regular visitors to this beautiful island and this is by far the best accomodation we have stayed at, we have already booked to go twice next year.It is convieniently located with the best views on the island.The appartments are exceptionally well furnished with everything you need,and more.The apartments are soptlessly clean so to is the pool.The gardens have the most glorious flowers and fruit trees all exceptionaly well kept.We recommended to friends of ours who travelled with children and they too are in awe of this accomodation and they too have just returned from a fantastic holiday.The owners are extremly helpful and will help with any questions about the island and always ensure you have everything you need.Dont hesitate to stay here I quarantee you will not be dissappointed and will have a memorable stay
