Sleeping up to four people, this terraced cottage is in Skipton, Gateway to the Dales. The Little House is a cosy terraced cottage in the market town of Skipton. There is a king-size double bedroom, a single bedroom and another room which has a sofabed. There is a family bathroom. Downstairs is a kitchen, and a sitting room with dining area, while outside is a small courtyard area with furniture, and parking can be found on the roadside. The shops, tearooms, canal and castle of the town are just a few minutes' walk from The Little House, making it ideal for a year-round break.

Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, mic...rowave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, books and games. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot available on request at time of booking. Roadside parking in quiet cul-de-sac. Small rear courtyard area with furniture. Sorry, no smoking. One well-behaved pet welcome. Shops and pubs 3 mins walk on the way there - may take a little longer uphill on the way back. Note: Please advise at the time of booking if you'd like the sofa bed made up for your arrival.

Town: The lovely town of Skipton is often referred to as "The Gateway to the Dales". Close by is the cathedral city of York, the Lake District and the West Coast, making this an incredibly central location. Skipton itself is an old market town and still continues the tradition to this day. It also boasts an ancient castle open to the public and a beautiful old parish church. With regular steam train excursions running at the weekend, visitors can enjoy a trip on the Embsay Steam Railway – just one mile away - or experience a canal trip on a traditional barge. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
