Villa Pegasus is ideal for people looking for a romantic and peaceful get-a-way whilst being close to the amenities of Skopelos Town, only 10 minutes away by car. It is the perfect spot for walkers, with easy access to many trails, as well as for painters who will appreciate the wonderful scenery.

Interior:

Entry into this simple b...ut unique villa is to the open plan living/dining room with comfortable furnishings and French windows leading out to a small front terrace which looks down the wooded valley to Skopelos Town and the sea beyond. The well equipped kitchen continues through from the living room and is complete with dishwasher, with a door off the kitchen into the spacious wc/shower room. Stairs lead up from the kitchen area to the large double bedroom with windows looking out over the hillside. This cottage is built on two levels and is entered from the pool area into a warm and comfortable sitting room with a corner fireplace and open plan kitchen. The terracotta colored walls and dark wood beamed ceilings compliment the colorfully tiled floors. The fully equipped kitchen, with full sized electric cooker/oven, has a huge window facing out to the sea. The large double French doors next to the kitchen lead to a spacious terrace that makes for easy serving of al-fresco meals. This living room of this cottage is also comfortably furnished and has a sofa (which converts to a bed for 1 or 2 people) and spectacular views to the lush green forests and sea. Stairs lead up from the kitchen area to the large double bedroom with windows looking out over the hillside.

Exterior:

The exterior walls have been painted in bright colors, a technique taken from ancient times and which complement the surroundings. There is a BBQ to one side of the house and outside dining table, taking advantage of the shady pergola just outside the main entry door and in front of the private swimming pool and large pool terrace. Villa Pegasus has its own “privacy” walls and gated entrance from the access drive.

Villa Pegasus is one of three villas set in their own grounds in the peaceful area of Pefkias, on the hillside above Skopelos Town. Pegasus has its own driveway. It is surrounded by pine forests and close to many of the old donkey tracks across the island. The villa is completely private and not overlooked by the other two villas. Villa Pegasus is situated in the area of Pefkias, on the hillside above Skopelos Town (about 10 minutes by car) and enjoys fantastic views down the lush wooded valley to Skopelos harbor and the sea beyond. 12 km nearest beach - Panormos.

Additional Location Information

Translate the name and you'll start to understand a little more about Pefkias. It's Greek for Pine Tree so it'll come as no surprise that sun-dappled pine forests cloak the place, their sweet scent filling the air. Pefkias is a rural pocket of Skopelos with an enviable setting. It's only a ten minute drive down to Skopelos Town and ten minutes in the other direction to the pretty fishing village of Agnontas. Plus it's a few minutes' drive from the beaches that gild the southwest coast, among them one of the island's most seductive sandy stretches, Limnonari.
Here and there you'll see old stone villas and hushed holiday homes peeking out among pine trees, olive groves and fruit trees. Naturally, the views here are superb. Look down to the wooded valleys and out to a sea that sparkles alluringly in the distance. If you're a fan of walking and hiking, you'll be in your element here. Pick a path down to the beaches of Limnonari and Agnondas. It'll take about an hour on foot but the sight that greets you is prize enough, with velvety sand giving way to warm crystal waters.

Maid service is included in the rental rates: Towels and bed linen are changed every 3 days. The Villa is cleaned every 3 days.

On your arrival at Skopelos port, you will be welcomed and we will escort you to the Villa.

We will be available by phone in case of any emergency at any time.

25% initial deposit of the total rental value is required, so as to confirm reservation.
Final payment is to be completed four weeks prior to the arrival date.

The moment the initial deposit has been received, you will receive confirmation of your booking.

45 days or less before arrival date : 25 % cancellation charge.

Earliest Check In: 14:00.
Latest Check Out: 11:00.

  Thank you for the amazing holidays! Usually the internet lies and that' s why we were very cautious, but fortunately here they don't exaggerate a bit, the villa "Pegasus” is like a dollhouse with a breathtaking view. The welcome basket with the fresh fruits was the better way to start our holidays! Our 7 days there, were like at home away from home. The villa is 10 minutes (by car ) from the port so we were very close to the heart of the beautiful Skopelos.
  P.S. I have to share with you a very personal moment, when George and I sat by the pool, it was late afternoon, he proposed to me. As you understand for us the romantic villa Pegasus will always have a precious place in our life!

  Whoever is looking for a peaceful, beautiful spot to get away from it all - without being too remote: This is it. What you see advertised is really what you get - plus as much attention and help by the owners as you can hope for, in short: Excellent service. Although Skopelos is a beautiful island, that offers beaches as well as a green, hilly countryside, we just stayed 'put' the first days, simply enjoying the views that Villa Pegasus has to offer. Strongly recommended!
