Stayed here for a week with my family (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Everything was superb. The hosts were incredibly helpful. The apartment had perfect amenities for the money. You have to watch the electricity and water consumption because if you go over the allocated quota then you must pay extra but this was explained right from the start and I think it is a good idea to keep the cost of rental reasonable and to discourage careless wastage of resources. The smallest room does not have air conditioning but that was not a major problem as we could use the fan and leave the windows open. The apartment is spacious which is great with teenagers. We loved having our own private splash pool as the weather was very hot. The children also loved the large screen for watching Dvds in the evening. The location is perfect with the buses and ferries just a short walk. We also went to a fabulous Maltese restaurant just round the corner (il Merill). There are grocery stores, bakeries and a supermarket close at hand. I loved the fact that the apartment was so peaceful at night while in the centre of Silema. I am usually a poor sleeper but had a good night's sleep every night in this place. We were also relieved that we did not encounter any mosquitos which has been a problem for us in other places but perhaps the height of the apartment helps reduce the chance. There are nice lidos just a short walk away. The hosts gave us lots of useful information and were available whenever we had a query.
