Have stayed twice and each stay was great. Enjoyed the quietness and the hospitality. Lauren and her husband Mark are great, and they seem to enjoy having you as a guest.

We always have a great, relaxing time at auberge LaGrange. The rooms are very clean, the breakfasts are fit for a King or Queen, and the pool is great. We will return.

One of the people in our party is a vegetarian and we mentioned that on check-in. They made an extra quiche with spinach and squash to be sure she was pleased...this was in addition to the usual eggs and bacon and biscuits!

Fredericksburg, TXWonderful hospitality and beautiful grounds greeted us -

The service was outstanding. We requested a "breakfast to go" because we were attending an early morning auction a few miles away. Mark met us with a bag of wonderful kolaches, juice and pastry for the road - perfect. Our room was quiet and well done. We did not see any other rooms or inside the main house. Smithville is such a lovely town, we alway enjoy our visits there.

HoustonQuiet, relaxing country getaway
Left on 05/14/2012 for a stay in May 2012
My husband and I stayed at this B&B; for our 10th wedding anniversary in 2006. The innkeepers, Mark and Lauren, went the extra mile in ensuring our stay was special. We have since returned numerous times to this tranquil retreat. Great rooms and a wonderful inviting garden and pool area. Our most recent stay was a couple of weeks ago. Best way to explore Smithville is by walking or cycling in town.

What a peaceful place to stay! Decompress and enjoy the West, wild or serene, there is so much land to feast your eyes on, small town friendliness with all the comforts of home. Put this Place on your list! Close to austin and the beautiful sights of the Hill Country, or pick the night life of the city! Either way you'll enjoy the stay!

Highland, IndianaA peaceful retreat.
Left on 05/02/2012 for a stay in October 2011
My husband and I have stayed many. many times at the auberge. We consider it a home away from home and would never consider staying anywhere else in the area. Mark and Lauren go out of their way to make us comfortable, the rooms are always clean and comfortable and the breakfasts and snacks are sooo good. We have family in Smithville, 6 grandchildren, and they are made to feel very welcome when they come to visit us(and the pool) at the B&B;
