This detached bungalow is situated just two miles from the town of Sneem in County Kerry and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Sliabh na Mban is a detached bungalow set in extensive grounds two miles from the town of Sneem in County Kerry. With two twin bedrooms and one king size double with an ensuite as well as a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep six people. The cottage also contains a kitchen with a range cooker and a dining area, a sitting room with an open fire and a conservatory. Outside the cottage is off road parking for 4 cars, a lockable storage room, extensive gardens & grounds with a picnic table, private woodland are...a and a shoreline with a private pier & boat mooring. There are also three mountain bikes available for use by arrangement with owner. Perfectly located overlooking Kenmare Bay and close to Sneem, Sliabh na Mban is a fantastic holiday cottage for all the family.

Town: Situated between the towns of Kenmare and Waterville, and on the route of the Kerry Way, the village of Sneem provides shops, pubs and a number of cosy tea rooms. With rows of brightly coloured houses, and a lively atmosphere, Sneem is a popular stop for tourists and locals alike, and it is said to be impossible to complete a circuit of the famous Ring of Kerry without passing through Sneem, known as the 'Knot on the Ring of Kerry'. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  We chose this cottage because of it's location and because it has a jetty, we are keen kayakers and we wanted to bring our dogs with us & this cottage fit the bill.
  We found the cottage clean spacious and comfortable, the woodland around the cottage is quite dense & not good for walking through however the road to the cottage is quiet so dog walking was not a problem.
  The best views are from the kitchen & master bed room, the sun lounge has no view to speak of however it was an ideal place to billet the dogs.
  I would say that you get what you pay for and the price that we paid gave us very good value for money the only down side was lack of a tumble-dryer, the details included one but I very much doubt if there ever was one, there was however a clothes line and a clothes airer.
  We may book this property again if it's available this autumn or this time next year.
  If you have never been to this area before I would advise you to take insect repellant as the midges were troublesome in certain weather conditions.
