This fully remodeled 2 story townhouse is less than 200 yards from the ski lifts, across the street from the new Base Village and Treehouse Kids Adventure Center. After a morning of great skiing, you can ski down within 100 yards of our front door! And at the end of the day, enjoy the 2 large outdoor hot tubs and heated pool in the center of this private upscale 36 unit complex.

The 36 unit Tamarack Townhouse complex is located across the street from the new Base Village at Snowmass and the Treehouse Kids Adventure Center. The Snowmass Conference is just up the hill at the Snowmass Village Mall. Parking is provided, free of charge, for our Tamarack rental guests.

We stayed at Tamarack # 5 two years ago when we first visited Snowmass and returned again this year for two weeks.
Tam 5 is warm, well appointed, clean and comfortable. We're not so keen on the heavy, dark wood decor that is popular in us ski resorts so Tam 5's light and functional interiors really appealed to us.
The downstairs area has everything you need including a great kitchen with modern appliances and some dry-good food items in the cupboards just incase you forgot to grab something. It also has a good music system, wi-fi access, a local phone and a large television (T.V's also in both bedrooms), a washer and dryer (really easy to use - I washed each night and hung things in the downstairs bathroom and they were dry by morning), a wired-in humidifier, central heating and gas fireplaces.
Upstairs the bedrooms are spacious and have lots of wardrobe space and a big chest of drawers in each room. There are spares of everything in the cupboards and staff came every few days to clean and change beds and linen. Not once did we want for anything.
We really love the convenience of Tam 5 too. Located across the road from The Treehouse, Kids Ski School - but not fronting the road - it takes 2-3 minutes to walk over to Base Village, but is far enough away to avoid the music and noise from the restaurants and bars there . We skied most of the mountains in aspen and with the main bus terminal only 200 metres away (downhill!) it was really easy to get to the other mountains. Coming home the bus takes you to the Top Village and a shuttle drops you down the road, 50 metres from the front door. The grocery store is a 5 minute walk away.
The personal touch provided by the owners John and Kathy was sincere and welcoming. Tamarack #5 ticks all the boxes for a ski trip and we'll definitely be back. -

This condo was everything it was advertised to be and more. Our family has made may trips to snowmass over the Christmas holiday and this was by far our favorite condo of all time. The convienience to the slopes,hot tubs,restaurants,and village shuttle was wonderful. Kathy and John have included all the necessary amenities and did a superb job of renovating this unit

Having rented on several occasions from the SkiCo, I can say our Vrbo rentals have been superior... and Tamarack #5 is no exception!! The condo is very comfortable for a family of 4, well appointed and conveniently located across from the Base Village. Access to the mountain for first tracks is simple and the Snowmass shuttle drops you at your door when you are finished for the night!

We've been going back to the same unit for the last two years. The unit is within walking distance to the lift, very well maintained and reasonably priced. And the owners are very easy and straight forward to work with...highly recommend it.

We stayed in this super clean (even my Mom approved!), cozy unit which was right next to the shuttle bus stop and had a lovely time. It was well-appointed, well-laid out and the maintenance people were very helpful. The teenage girls took the master bedroom with the fireplace. The slope was a short walk away, very easy access. We will definitely be back next year, since we love Snowmass so much.

This is our second year staying at Tamarack #5 and it was great again. We especially like it because we have a daughter who is 6 and she was in ski school again - it is very convenient to the ski school. For adults it is close to the mall and all the ski lifts. Walking distance to the local market.
