The Slopeside Chalet in Snowmass Village is not swanky by any means, but that is part of its charm. The home is spacious, with plenty of room for a large group to spread-out and relax. The hot tub and sauna were a big hit with our group of 10 adults. The kitchen is a little bit small, but certainly sufficient for cooking most any fare. The large dining room table was perfect for the group to share meals. The decor is dated -- big game trophies adorn the walls throughout the house! -- but all-in-all the home is very comfortable. All bedrooms have their own bathrooms, giving everyone a bit of privacy. The home is a short drive (or about a 15 minute walk) from the Village. The views are pretty good too. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for the kind of place where you can relax without having to worry about your guests breaking a collection of Ming vases or Faberge eggs. If you are looking to impress a group of high-end clients or your wealthy in-laws, then this probably isn't the place for you. Also, Maureen Kerr with First Choice Properties is top-notch. She responds promptly to emails and phone calls, and she made sure that our vacation went-off without a hitch.
