This was our 3rd or 4th year staying at Towering Pines. The location and layout of the house is great. Very comfortable space. However, the home is in real need of some up-dating. Specifically, the non-master bathrooms are very tired, the refrigerator/freezer needs to be replaced and some general freshening up of furninshings. With out the cap-ex this property will no longer be attractive to our family (especially at the rental rate).

what an amazing vacation spot!! we loved the house and all of its amenities.the lay our was great, jacuzzi and steam room awesome!! very private, everything worked well,beautiful and comfortable furnishings. The only negative was that the driveway was slippery to walk down carrying skis.

Great place, far better than the photos suggested. The staff were exceptionally helpful during the arriving leaving process. Only downside (nothing to do with home) was poor instruction at ski school but otherise great location, great vacation

This home is surrounded by nature in its natural setting.The interior of the home is well appointed and very comfortable.The bedroom setup affords privacy and comfortability.The home is close to the town center yet far enough away for very quiet days. I really enjoyed my stay of two months.

The house was great. We had grandparents and 4 families, 2
with kids. It was big enough and separate enough that people
could go to sleep when they needed to. The kitchen was
upstairs from the cars and was updated and nice with a big
island bar, it took us a minute to figure out the lighting.
The bedrooms were fine. The master had beeping from the fire
alarm all through the first night, but that was fixed.
The only thing that wasn't great was the hot tub. The
surroundings outside were pretty, but the hot tub itself wasn't
warm enough and didn't look kept up enough.
We had a good time, we did some things in Snowmass/Aspen
and other things we traveled to Glenwood Springs for.
Over all it was really fun to have everyone in one house.

Towering Pines is a nicely furnished home in a great location. First Choice Properties is very responsive to every need we had. We stayed for two months in the summer and really liked the location, especially for hiking.
