Turkey Roost is a crafty home of post and beam construction, every attention to your comfort has been taken care of, from the covered front porch to the private hot tub on the back deck, not to mention the inviting great room. Comprised of 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, full kitchen, TV, VCR, phone, this home accommmodates 8 people at Slatyfork Farm. Well treained pets are welcome! All pet friendly properties require a $50.00 per pet fee. This property requires a $50.00 hot tub fee. 4-wheel drive access only in winter! Q, Q, Q, QHB. Maximum Occupancy 8.

Service is reliable, a well furnished and excellently clean home.
Located off the main roads in the mountainous woods next to a murmuring brook. Well maintained hotpool on the porch, firewood being provided for a cosy fireplace. It takes perhaps 15 mins to reach the ski cirkus on top of the showshoe area. highly recommended. -

Great Place!! Huge Cabine only 5 min drive from SnowShoe. Had every thing you would ever need.. the hot tub can easly seat 6 people, huge fire place. a dinning table that seat 10 people.
The only complaint I have is that the pullout bed was broken so I had to sleep on the bed which was not very comfortable. Other than that every thing was great -

Our stay was awesome everything about our vacation was . Cant say enough about Mountain Valley properties Owner and staff they were so accomadating any questions answered they really went out of there way to make sure we were taken care of. Thank you so much Debbie for an awesome experience. The house was perfect clean when we arrived and the features were awesome the huge kitchen was a great place for gathering and cooking bedrooms were spacious. it was great ! highly recommended !!!

Perfect cabin to stay in to spend time with your family and yet be close to everything snowshoe has to offer. The fireplace and the hot tub were our two favorite features of the cabin. Definitely need 4 wheel drive.

Great place to stay with family or friends. The hot tub is perfect and the place it kept very clear. Could use a bigger TV, but then again this is a place to get away. This is secluded, but not for the loud party crowd as there is a house nearby, or within very noisy distance.

It snowed for a night and day so we had wonderful fresh snow for cross country skiing. One of our cars did not have 4 wheel drive (Honda Accord) and yet we were easily to get up and down the mountain even with the new snow.The cabin was very nice and well equipped, we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace (remember to bring your own kindling). The hot tub in the snow was great fun! We saw deer from the cabin and also other tracks in the snow (rabbits, raccoons?). We loved it.

Some friends and I stayed here so we could stay near Snowshoe's mountain bike park and Slatyfork's cross country trails but far enough away from the noisy village and route 219. It has everything everyone needed plus a few really cool things like a hot tub and a cave within a 5 minute walk.
We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed a clean, quiet and relaxing time with no problems.
Mountain Valley properties gave us a great deal, we didn't have to pay for the last night!
We stay there every time we come to the area and will continue to do so. -

Great cabin with a wonderful wood burning stove. I had the cabin so warm that we had to open the door and the weather was the weekend that was 25 below without wind chill. The kitchen was so qwll equipped with every supplies needed. I loved how the cabin is at the end of the road. The hot tub was enjoyed by all.
