Additional Location Information
The Mountain Lodge is a Ski In/Ski Out complex ideally located right next to the Snowshoe Village and the slopes, and has its own private parking lot (free to Mountain Lodge guests). You’ll be 30 yards from the Ballhooter Lift and the Beginners’ Slope, all within the Basin. The indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, church, and general store are only a several minute walk to other buildings. Your room at the Mountain Lodge is also within walking distance of the Western Territory slopes and the shuttle to night skiing at Silver Creek, giving you outstanding access to all 60 slopes. On the ground floor you’ll find a relaxing lobby with wi-fi and a warm fireplace. You’ll have Auntie Pasta’s (Italian dining), a live comedy club, an exercise room, and a game room all in your own building. Mountain Lodge also offers a nightly movie during the ski season. Though you shouldn't need it, Mountain Lodge is the only building on the mountain with on-site maintenance. If something goes wrong in any other building, good luck getting a quick repair.
You’ll have a spacious two bedroom condo that easily sleeps six. The kitchen is well-stocked with dinnerware, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, etc. so you can bring food to eat-in. You'll have excellent wi-fi in this unit. The master bedroom has a 2-yr old king size bed, one of the few in the building. The smaller bedroom has a 2-yr old queen size bed. Each bedroom has a TV with cable and DVD player. There’s a sleeper sofa in the living room. There are two full bathrooms, a TV/VCR/DVD player in the living room with 23 DVDs, 15 VHS tapes, an XBox with 19 games, and a mini-library with 70 books. Other videos can be rented downstairs in the lobby or at Wildcat Provisions. Your condo will have a built-in ski rack, wainscoting, digital thermostats throughout for maximum comfort, and a balcony. Each bedroom and the living room have ceiling fans, unlike most of the rest of the Mountain Lodge units.

Highly recommned ML#235 to anyone looking for rental property. Tim, the owner, is very nice and easy to contact. The condo is very clean and well equipped. Very easy to get onto the slopes. Right in the Village, easy to get to any place. Loved our stay, thanks ML #235!

Left on 03/24/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We had a wonderful time at the condo. Everything was just as it was in the ad. Tim Wolfe was easy to get along with and had great communications. If there was anything that could have been better and Tim really has no control over this I thought the people at the front desk were less than pleasant. I would have expected them to have been more helpful being they were the front desk people at the resort. One interaction we had was to ask them the hours of the restaurant in the resort they told us the hours and when we went down the restaurant was closed for the season that would have been handy to know and also why is a restaurant closing for the season on March 11th. Seems there should have been a lot more ski season left. Other than that our experience was very nice the skiing was great and out interactions with Tim was great. I would highly recommend renting from him

Left on 03/12/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Got into Snowshoe Monday 3/4/2013 and found unti 235 just as described. Noticed the living area was cool and eventually found, after seeing the curtains blowing, the back sliding was not fully closed. The only issues we had with the condo was the fan light in the master bedroom burned out (we believe, it worked when we got there but did not work the last day) and the closet area was dark. I had noticed the PC wasn't working due to some type of registry corruption but that was OK, had my own laptop and phone. I let Tim know and he was going to take care of that. The wifi, which has nothing to do with this unit, provided by Mountain Lodge was extremely slow between 8:00 am and 11:00 pm. I don't know if it was so many users eating up the bandwidth or what, but it was slow.
The bed was comfortable, having a ceiling fan was nice because it got warm (our heat never came on - didn't need it) at night. Nice supply of kitchen utensils. Oven/stove and microwave all worked (ate breakfast and lunch in condo). It was nice to have cleaning crew come by and ask if there was anything we needed (towels, soap, TP, dishwashing detergent, etc.) and didn't just come in.
As far as our stay, this was the best and most snow we had ever experienced at Snowshoe. The crowds weren't bad and the snow was light powder (discovered I don't ski well in 12" of powder).
Tim has been great to work with, prompt at getting back with me everytime I have corresponded with him. I would recommend renting from Tim. -

Oberlin, OHMl 209
Left on 03/07/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We stayed at ML 209, another unit owned by Timothy Wolfe. He was responsive to email inquiries about availability and the logistics of Snowshoe where we had not been before. He also arranged a half-day rental at the end of the trip so we could have a home base after checkout on the last day of skiing before driving back to Ohio. The front desk personnel were helpful with questions about where to pick up lift tickets, helping us get a ski locker, etc. We took advantage of the 20% rental discount at Snowcreek Mountain Sports.
The only issues regarding the Mountain Lodge were the noise and the internet availability. The bedroom was adjacent the inner courtyard in which noise reverberates and some guests in the public spaces late at night completely disregarded the quiet policy (though, admittedly, we could have but didn't call to complain). Regarding the internet, connecting to the wifi was easy but getting to the internet was nearly impossible due to the number of available connections being maxed out most of the time (except sometimes between about midnight and 6 am). Skype via wifi was going to be our alternative to the absence of cell phone coverage but that plan did not work. Conceivably, Mountain Lodge management could upgrade the service to better accommodate the demand.
The main thing is that Timothy Wolfe seems to provide great client service and I am sure will follow up on any issues noted by his clients. I would not hesitate to rent a unit again from this owner. -

Left on 08/01/2012 for a stay in June 2012
The room was the perfect size for a very good price. The service at the mountain was also great. We called an asked for a few extra towels once or twice and they came right up. The pull out couch was awesome too. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. Also, the instructions and tips we recieved previous to our trip were excellent.

Left on 03/25/2012 for a stay in March 2012
The guy who owns this condo is truly a professional! 3 days before we were to leave for our week of spring skiing at Snowshoe, the management at Snowshoe decided to close the mountain...we had been planning this trip since June of 2011! All along, the owner was prompt, clear and very, very helpful with questions, lift ticket and equipment rental discounts. Don't rent from anyone else...you will be very pleased.

Cleveland, OHGreat price and location!
Left on 03/13/2012 for a stay in March 2012
This place was perfect for the price and location - right on the mountain top and just steps from town. It was able to accommodate our 5 guests perfectly but would not recommend more than 6 people. Most amenities were available including towels, hairdryer, coffee maker, etc. which was a plus in that all we had to do was worry about bringing our clothes and boards! The grocery store is kind of far but if you stock up right, 1 trip was enough for the weekend. The walkie talkies were a hit and a cute bonus for the slopes - the guys absolutely loved them!
I will absolutely stay here again and would recommend Tim's place. He was very easy to work with and the place was great!!! -

A quick weekend ski trip with my sons was made even better by finding this place. This condo was so convenient. Basically, you take the elevator 1 floor down and walk out the door and start skiing. It is literally right next to the Ballhooter Lift. Cozy, warm bedrooms with everything you will need after a long day of skiing. Also, complete with all of the cooking gear you will need if you prefer to stay away from some of the expensive eatery's. Tv's in every room made it easy for everyone to relax and watch their own shows at night (movies included at the condo). Tim was great to work with and will communicate with you every step of the way !!

We couldn't have been happier with our whole trip to Snowshoe. The condo was in the perfect location, super clean, and had lots of extras (movies, xbox). There was plenty of room for our family of 5 ( three kids 11, 9, 7) and being able to ski right in and out from the Mountain Lodge door was awesome. We are already planning our next trip up! Thanks Tim!

Left on 01/03/2012 for a stay in December 2011
This was our first time at Snowshoe and we had a great time. The condo was wonderful. It was sprisingly spacious and more that met our needs. My family--including 3 young kids--felt more than home at the condo. It would be a great place for a family or for a group of adults. It would easily accomodate at least 6 adults.
The condo is literally steps away from the slopes and the main shopping area of Snowshoe.

Columbia, SCBest bang for the buck!
Left on 03/06/2011 for a stay in March 2011
Condo is practically on top of one of the ski lifts (ballhooter) and maybe a 2 minute walk to the village. Tim was very accommodating and so was everyone I talked to at Mountain lodge. There is plenty to keep you busy in the condo after you just can't ski anymore. Nice library, plenty of movies and lots of x box games. We ate most of our meals in the condo. It was well furnished for us that are trying to be a little more frugal. The beds were comfortable. I can't think of a thing that we didn't have that we needed. We used the walkie talkies to stay in touch with our son and daughter-in-law. I asked Tim if there was a blow dryer and he said "no" but there would be by the time we arrived. The lady at the front desk brought it up shortly after we checked in. All four of us agree that it was a great vacation and looking forward to next year.

Very helpfull owner and everything was delivered as promised in the advertised article. X-box games and movies (along with three tvs) made for a good way to pass some time when you are to exhausted to keep skiing. We brought our 1 and 2 year old children and they enjoyed the children's play area in the lodge. A wonderfull experience and we hope to return.
