The home fit our three families with no problem. It was clean and beautifully kept. It was hard to regulate the temperature, always seemed too warm. It should also be noted that there is no cell service in the area of the property or ski slopes at snowshoe mountain.

My wife and I spent a few days at Eagle Rock in Snowshoe following a wedding in West Virginia. the weather was atrocious, but the cabin was fantastic! It was clean and spacious, with all the amenities we could hope for, and more light switches than the Starship Enterprise.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One suggestion would be to provide more specific directions for finding the office to pick up the keys. We knew we had to be very close, but couldn't find the office. When we finally did, the directions to our house were clear.

This beautiful cabin served as a base camp while on an extended weekend trip that included hiking and exploring Pocahontas County. Loved the cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The cabin was the clean and well appointed. Rental staff couldn't have been more accomodating. Will definitely be returning.

There were 8 of us traveling together, and the house fit everyone beautifully, 2 of our travelers were small kids, and they loved the house too! Our trip was to ride the train at Cass, and the house was in a great location. Everything was clean. We had a wonderful trip and look forward to coming back and staying at Eagle Rock!

wow, this home and its views are absolutely wonderful. all the convienience of home with a full kitchen and all the accessories to cook and seat a multifamily crew of vacationers. after hitting the slopes, the outdoor hot-tub was just what was needed. truly, all that was needed to be brought was the keys and your vehicle,shampoo, and soap. board games and everything else is in the home. my family and friends had a great time, we will enjoy talking about this trip and looking at the pictures for years to come!

we thoroughly enjoying our stay but also working with Mountain Valley Properties. They were the most helpful group of people from the booking process all the way through check out. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Even more, the Eagle Rock property is a stunning home with great views. I highly recommend staying at this home to experience it for oneself as the pictures posted for this property cannot do it justice.
I will definitely rent again for my next vacation in West Virginia! -

A group of 8 of us stayed at this cabin for the weekend. The cabin was very nice and well kept. The views from the cabin are fantastic and our favorite part was definitely the toasty hot tube.
The price was a great deal and the location was about 12 - 15 minutes from the top of Snowshoe. We would definitely stay here again -

The house is beautiful. Great kitchen, master bedroom & bath. The upstaris rooms were perfect and the furniture was a perfect fit. The house was well equipped with towels, linnens, and all the necessities. We enjoyed the view and would recommend to anyone. It's very close to Snowshoe and a short distance to the fishing streams. There were two picnic tables on the covered deck which is perfect for eating outside. Suggestions: chairs on the porch would be nice and it would have been better if the grass had been cut.

Our stay was fine. The place was nice. The amenities are nice and there is a lot of sleeping space. When there has been any appreciable snowfall or if it is icy, you definitely need a 4WD vehicle to get to the property. Apparently vomit was found on the patio after my stay, although I had somewhat thoroughly looked over it, and the Mountain Valley Properties rental manager said she would not rent to me in the future. I'm not saying she was being unreasonable, she didn't charge me extra for the vomit, but be careful not to cross her.

Eagle Rock is an exceptional rental property. When we arrived, 14 inches of snow blanketed the mountain. The stillness and remarkable tranquility were just the escape we needed. The facility was spotless, spacious, and extremely comfortable. If you are looking for the perfect getaway, this is the spot for you.
